I was so enchanted. it was the first time I heard the first praise song and saw something about this church. all in adoration and in full communion with the Lord!! I have always loved this song, was very very excited to watch it and get a feel for this year's BOTT. However, as a lifelong Holy Ghost filled apostolic I could not get past the opening that felt like it was a Las Vegas show or a worldly concert. Why? Why do we feel we have to alow this type of atmosphere into our SANCTUARY? Becoming more like the world and it's entertainment, and creating a night club atmosphere in our places of worship? Turn the lights on. We have no need for darkness in our sanctuaries. Why has this become a thing in our churches? We are worshipping the worship. I am saddened. What fellowship does light have with darkness? My dad was a bar hopping, concert going alcoholic. This is not the kind of thing we need to allow in our churches. Many many men and women in the 70's ran from that environment. And now, this is what our services resemble. I am praying daily for this to change. I have always loved watching the worship from Manguns church. I pray you change back. And all of you reading this, no comments about changing with the culture. We are to change the culture. Not the other way around.

I have always loved this song, was very very excited to watch it and get a feel for this year's BOTT. However, as a lifelong Holy Ghost filled apostolic I could not get past the opening that felt like it was a Las Vegas show or a worldly concert. Why? Why do we feel we have to alow this type of atmosphere into our SANCTUARY? Becoming more like the world and it's entertainment, and creating a night club atmosphere in our places of worship? Turn the lights on. We have no need for darkness in our sanctuaries. Why has this become a thing in our churches? We are worshipping the worship. I am saddened. What fellowship does light have with darkness? My dad was a bar hopping, concert going alcoholic. This is not the kind of thing we need to allow in our churches. Many many men and women in the 70's ran from that environment. And now, this is what our services resemble. I am praying daily for this to change. I have always loved watching the worship from Manguns church. I pray you change back. And all of you reading this, no comments about changing with the culture. We are to change the culture. Not the other way around.
Agree! Love Bott, but something has to be done about the progressive movement of darkening our sanctuaries for environment sake , for technology, all the bells and whistles.. but MUST have the Anointing.

Worship comes from a place of pain - to Worship God when things did Not go our way - when some prayers did Not receive an answer - people died that we believed by Faith would be healed - we push past the tears to STILL give unadulterated Worship - no interruptions to God -> God is Sovereign.. which means God Is King.
