..ok, here's my 2 cents' worth on the Vin Man: As the whole world right now is going crazy over Messi, and many sportscasters have said they've run out of adjectives to describe Messi with, I'd say Vinnie Moore is the Messi of the highly skilled guitarists! A guitarists' guitarist! Among the greats, and all are great, I love and appreciate all the awesomeness of all great guitarists..each unique ..Vinnie has all the technique in the world, yet always under the command of his FEEL...the man's melodies can touch just about every heart...in different styles and grooves..love his shredding...AND his expressive playing.. Few with such high level of EMOTION in his playing. If we Argentines are said to be passionate about futbol and other things, so is Vinnie for music and guitar. ..So expressive, the details and subtleties are unreal......u listen for yourself and choose your adjectives! since college days soaking his albums...From his first t....to today. ..Vinnie has continued to soar and progress and flow and ...grow. His albums have become imprinted deeply, and just listening to this song evokes vivid images memories feelings from those years in Miami while listening to The Maze constantly! Amazing music from an amazing soul...soul to soul communication and goodness..greatness! As for the man, what a gentleman. Met first in Florida on my birthday during Meltdown Tour...signed my poster happy b-day, took pics....even signed that pic....great humble regular guy. Then again in 2017 out west, after the show, he remembers the pics and encounters...what a class act human. So Gifted with music And, just heard he's just released NEW ALBUM.!! omgg what great timing..as I've recently returned to guitars after 20 yrs..searching for videos to watch and get back in guitar shape, what do i find..but this, a FAVORITE, awesome song! So, been learning note for note, chops coming back super fast, Vinnie melodies flying off the 8track, and the joy those melodies bring inside ..medicine to the soul and spirit! And by many accounts, Vinman is genuinely same with everyone; recently read dudes share Vinnie was at their restaurant with family, so employees guitar dudes played Vinnie music over speakers...and Vinnie was so cool, went to counter..asks if guitar players work there..jaja..they talk, chat, laugh..awesome! I loved the part where they say they told Vinnie what they thought of him: nice regular guy...but "sick guitar player"...lol... I hear, and love, the real sentiment jaja....my adjectives for him: humble dude, yet incredible, unbelievable, amazing, awesome, ridiculously good, superior, melodic, ...heavenly!? divine!? Gifted!! ... guitar player! Vinnie: THANK YOU...for always being genuine and for blessing us fellow humans with your wondrous feelings-turned-sounds... ....aka Music..🙂 ..and blessings to you and yours...

Penny plays with the Same Soul as Satriani and he can shred with the same precision speed and ferocity as Malmsteen without sounding so robotic. I just found out about this guy. 31 years later.

I remember...minds eye was the first album from Vinnie that I heard back in the day.I started my guitar journey listening to all the great shredders...I'm 44 and I'm always intrigued by shredders till now though I have to admit I kind of had enough.All I have to say is Vinnie Moore as well Marty Friedman are the best musicians to my ears since they have the most interesting notes choice.I never get tired listening to them...I wish you the best Vinnie cheers from Greece.
This guy deserves something like the Hall of fame in music and guitar ranking. His recognition at Hollywood Walk of Fame would be nice. According to many guitarrists in Brazil he is a legend as musician and guitarrist. I would hate him at the last level of guitar composition. Thanks Vinnie for show us your art and feeling.
