Thank you so much for your honesty. There’s so many people who hype up so many venders and not to be mean but it’s not good. People work hard for their money and can only spend so much for wax and when they see vendors all hyped up they try it and it’s a bust. Sometimes I feel there’s no honest reviews , it just “go buy, it’s great” and it’s disappointing.
Wax money is a luxury and the price of everything going up in general for sure makes our hard earned dollars even more precious! I definitely want to be as fair and honest in my reviews. 🥰
I weighed the wax in the clam shells...2.3 oz for $5.90 which is $2.56 an ounce.....save your $$$, you can get better for less money!
In some research I was doing for one of my journey through the world of fragrance video I came across some info that if wax is too hot when poured into clams, that’s what creates that plastic smell. It shouldn’t be above a certain temp
That is super interesting! I try to avoid clamshells (except for Scentsy) because that smell drives me nuts lol 😂
That's exactly right Melissa. It has to be the right temperature to pour in clamshells or you get that scent. This is direct to me from a very seasoned vendor of years I asked them why some vendors have that plastic smell.

I have 2 clams from this vendor. Haven’t warmed them yet. They were free gifts with your 1st purchase from the store. I know what you mean with the “clamshell” smell. 😢. Gonna have to warm mine. 🤞

Ive never tried or heard of this vendor. I don't mind paying for good wax. I would be bummed spending that much on wax that doesn't work. Thank you for testing
ya...this it is SUPER expensive and not worth it for what you get (just my opinion of course)
I appreciate your honesty so I don’t run out and spend my money on some disappointing and give up on all vendors over it. I almost did give up on vendor wax few years ago because I didn’t let L3 cure and couldn’t smell it. I gifted almost everything and melted it again a year later and was blown away by it! It’s very helpful to people starting out to know and understand and hear reviews before just buying and melting and not understanding! ❤😊

Sounds like wax of disappointment. ☹️ I can’t spend $6 on a single oil bar anymore unless it’s from a vendor I 🩷. I’ve become spoiled. LOL I’m all for trying new vendors who offer something a little extra.

Bummer you didn’t get great performance on the one you tried. Hopefully the others do better because it’s pricey to not perform
