The humming sound when you’re in the apartment is crazy in this weeks vlog. It’s making me batty. P.S. One thing I’ve learned from p.r situations is not to do a video negatively critiquing it. The PR person may had been new at planning it and did their best to get the word out in a unique way. How lucky to have been considered for it. Look how many people live in NYC. Really you have to swallow your pride and feel thankful to have been invited. Your now limiting your invites. Don’t be upset for a lack there of event. Could have been their first one. You have to show love and respect that one step on the ladder no matter how small.

I was about to say didn’t this happen before?! Unfortunately I’d be willing to say it’s because it’s a washer that hasnt been properly cleaned - I know it’s a communal washer area from what you’ve shown/stated.
Honestly I’d say that thing has prob never been properly cleaned and everyone using it has different detergents/build up etc… 😢

@@lauramahachek This was my first thought too - don't throw it out, you can get those little specks of gunk off with a wash in a clean machine. It's cheap and easy to run a cycle with some washing machine cleaner to ensure the machine is clean.
@@lauramahachek I know it would cost to do but maybe get some affresh I think is one brand of cleaner for the washer- (but their could be mold buildup etc when the lines are caked with diff detergents)
Maybe run a cleaning cycle prior to your clothes :( I know it’s more work though!
Pity that event was a disappointment. Hopefully you found a decent coffee place afterwards cos coffee fixes everything, well almost everything💧

The same thing happened to me when I lived in an apartment with communal washers. There should be a number on the machine, call them and explain what happened. I was asked to send the items in and was sent a check for reimbursement.
If the company doesn’t offer that, go through your renters insurance and file a claim.
