  • In-N-Out Burger in Squamish is a huge rock slab, and it was only my second riding this, I am still having a hard time going down slowly enough to keep control!

    Grab some galfer rotors and galfer purple ebike brake pads with whatever setup you have now, or get hayes dominion a4 brakes paired with the galfer stuff above

    You are the man, it looks like going slow is sketchy, but transitioning into those shadows is hard to judge/see anything, well done!

    better brakes than what brakes tho? no clue what you were using, but man did i think you were gonna hit a tree, that end of the rock slab looked nasty at that speed

      I have Shimano XT brakes, 4 piston, I thought they should be good enough though haha

      @sdy284 11 месяцев назад

      @@JordanBoostmasterRaw how big are the rotors? larger diameter rotors give you more "leverage" on your wheels to help you slow down better. (plus better heat dissipation)

    • @JordanBoostmasterRaw
      @JordanBoostmasterRaw  11 месяцев назад

      @@sdy284 I have 200mm on the front and 180mm rear

    • @sdy284
      @sdy284 11 месяцев назад

      @@JordanBoostmasterRaw sounds like you need 220's front & rear. Trying that out will be much more cost-efficient than throwing hundreds at new calipers

    • @JordanBoostmaster
      @JordanBoostmaster 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@sdy284 I could try that, but I also just think I should put saint brakes on there also, but I know that would cost more

    Did u just delete my comment with my brake setup recommendation? :(

      @JordanBoostmasterRaw  11 месяцев назад

      no I did not delete anything

    • @tehalexy
      @tehalexy 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@JordanBoostmasterRaw ah, maybe then autodelete because i posted a reddit link. I do have 2x 246mm Galfer Rotors paired with Magura MT7 and those long 4finger levers ( using with one finger, for leverage and modulation ) and this brake setup is damn nice :;D
