I'm glad you like the vids! thanks for watching :) I'm working on doing a "first look" at the skill trees of each character for PD2 now. Just got the necromancer one posted. I'm going to try to have all 7 classes covered by tomorrow so everyone can see all the changes for each class to hopefully help decide on what they will use as a season starter :)
Always a good video from you man, all the best of pd2, btw I’m the guy that was talking about your videos in a chaos run the other week lol ( AJWARCHILD )
hey man :D glad you like the vid. Im trying to get some pd2 content recorded right now in the open beta but the servers are having different ideas haha
Guessing they already nerfed brand. This one looks better than the one in the wiki. Also, I'm new to the slamming concept. Are you only allowed to slam an item once, or can you keep going until you lose the item?
yeah they nerfed brand unfortunately :/ I guess the proc rate was causing graphical issues so they nerfed it lol. As for the slams, you can only slam an item once. It then becomes "corrupted" and cannot be corrupted again.
I'm really looking forward to making a ww assassin. Chaos having the repair durability mod makes it so you can have it in an eth claw is just that much better. I think chaos+plague focusing on venom/blade shield will be extremely good.
Right. Cool thing they buffed the cold spells too so was thinking wind w/ chaos makes orb, charged bolts, cyclone armor, tornados, and twisters while using ww. Thinking night wings with some others cold pen/boosters would be a fun take on a ww too At the very least it will look cool in action and quite a bit of survival with fade+cyclone armor
As far as I am aware there are no changes to rares. That being said, extremely good rolls on rares will be in the end game as they are in vanilla d2 and PoD. It is mostly weapons, boots, belts, and gloves that end up being used, but those are extremely uncommon drops. One example of this would be a claw weapon with 400+% enhanced damage, 2 to assassin skills, 40% ias, 20 max damage and leech. The chances of dropping a claw like that are akin to winning the lottery, but it is a rare weapon that would be better than pretty much any other claw in the game. That being said, for the most part 99% or more of the rare items will be relatively useless at end game but the extremely good ones will still have their place in the meta.
@@zannycakesgaming1986 thx for the in-depth reply. I’m one of those always searching for the GG rare that never rolls. Why has it taken so long for d2 mods to start popping up? Seems like everything gets modded these days.
Will online only content work in single player in project diablo? I really only enjoy playing offline and I hate how you can’t make online run words. Any word on this? 🤞🏻
That is true in PD2. In path of diablo you can have all 3 spirits and all 3 vines active at the same time, in addition to all of your wolves and bear. When I made this video PD2 was still in closed beta and it was an assumption on my part that you could have multiple spirits or vines out but I was wrong. You can have both wolves and bear and ravens out at the same time, but only one spirit and one vine. Sorry for any confusion.
If this is a snapshot of how this mod is editing. I don't think it is in the right direction for balancing the game. I doubt if the author truly understands the value of each attribute. -the reflect damage wouldn't be effective even if boost from 20 to 800. because monsters are high in hp and 800 damage could be neglected -simply working on CTC skill level does not make too much sense. from 1.10 both skills and monster hp got hugely boost up, without Synergies most skills are pretty useless in hell difficulty -some attributes are definitely overvalued like lightning absorb % in wisp projector & level 4-6 might aura. 20% lightning absorb is just equal to +10 max lightning res with max res. and 20% absorb can never fully absorb, but 20 absorb can (that's why it is much weaker than Thundergod's Vigor). level 6 might aura is just +90% body enhance damage. calculate linearly with other body ED, skills, and strength. -some items are still toy Metal grid +16 Iron Golem, but did u know if ur character does not learn Iron Golem, it will disappear after quit game. Even if this mod make it not disappear, without Golem Mastery and Summon Res it will be as fragile as druid spirit Even for low budget builds, I did not find a reason for using them
Lol... This will be like private servers in WoW TBC on early patches with everyone wielding weapon with 99999999 dmg and armor with every enchant possible. I dont understand excitement and all this hurrah about pd2, whats fun with playing necro as bear taking everthing in 1 hit? Server with cheated items with young non mature players exciting about shiny itemsssshh with cheated stats.... Im staying loyal to pod
They removed corpse explosion charges from corpsemourn but added in +1 corpse explosion as an oskill. That means that any class will have it as an actual skill and it will benefit from +all skills. It is the very last stat on the change side projectdiablo2.miraheze.org/wiki/Armor#Corpsemourn
Informative content. Can't wait for PD2 to launch !
I'm pretty excited myself :D

Really wanna make a ghost assassin with the new wind or plague claw with a chaos claw.

@zannycakes is there any rework on rare items that you are aware of?
Any chance they will make them more viable?

First Item from D2 is Mavina bow 188%ed must be changed to 288% and aldur mace 0%ed must be 400%ed

U can play pd2 on plugy
However, most of the gears u have shown (after modified) are still underpower and outrun by gears in original d2 game
can project diablo II be played offline ?
From what I understand, yes it will support single player. I cant confirm, but I've heard that you can even play it in tandem with the plugy mod
Hmm i thought you could have only 1 spirit and 1 carrion at a time...

Corpsemourn REMOVED corpse explosion. No niche build for this man. Literally shows on the change guide.

I'm pretty sure Justin Bieber is already the evil version. Wouldn't mind having his bank account though :D
