Welcome to Compton High School

Compton High School in the Compton Unified School District in Compton, California, is home of the “Mighty Tababes.” As the flagship school of the city, it is proud to represent Hub City. Also known as the “School of Champions” it represents Compton off and on the court, through its award-winning Robotics team, district champion eSports team, and diverse range of athletic opportunities from football, basketball, soccer, baseball, and the newly minted lacrosse team.
The school motto is “Elevate Our Legacy,” a legacy that goes back more than 125 years to 1896 when the school was first founded. Since then, the school has cultivated talent in the music industry with artists like Eazy-E and Roddy Ricch, and stars in the NBA, the NFL, and MLB like Damar DeRozen and Datone Jones.
