Your on my doorstep now Chris, I went to school in Sedgefield. Tried king chef a few years ago when it first opened and it wasn’t good like, left it a bit and gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried again, was awful again but at least there was no bird shite or ants.
I’ve noticed the difference in energy and enthusiasm in Mandingo since he’s left the factory. He Seemed a bit exhausted before and low on energy sometimes but now it’s like the leash has been taken off.

I always thought chips with a Chinese was a northern thing? Like gravy or curry sauce with Fish N Chips or brown sauce on a Bacon sandwich. Maybe I'm wrong and it's just weird to my location? Though I just wish if we're doing rice alternatives, then let's have naan bread at Chinese places instead as it's the superior mopping up food.
I fund most rice dry anyway tbf even in food takeaways, it has to be swimming in edwina curry like but I'm not a posh twat ill eat a camel on its last legs if I had to. As long as there's plenty sauce or gravy lol
It probably comes down to what you order as if you order from the more Chinese part of the menu, there is more room for error..... Like seafood is usually old and tastes really nasty at these low rated places.
