@@Kane1388 Totally agree. Plus giving them an actual pick of the contestants would lead to more interesting trade opportunities. As it is, Jake and Jimmy basically never want to trade with Joez/Zack because their contestant is always terrible. Joez/Zack have no way of meaningfully contributing without getting super lucky with a great candidate falling to third.
It's like if you finished last in the NFL and didn't get a high-draft pick to account for it and the good teams just kept dunking on you year after year without a system of parity to balance things out.

Lets be honest. Joez/Zack are the Washington Generals of Watching Guts. They are there solely to get their asses kicked by Jimmy and Jake.
Until Zack and Joez get a proper place in the pick rotation, all of Jimmy and Jake's wins need to have a asterisk by them. We do not recognize the fraudulent streak.

@@DazednMildlyConfused Admittedly the timing of the video pause made it funnier than it actually was but the point still stands. They shot like 5 episodes of this in one day. Mike, Mo and the crew can often end up acting a little goofy when they're trying to extract usable material when interacting with the kids.
Favorite part of making it to middle of the week a new watchin guts episode! Never forget that little dynamite overcame a half an aggro crag deficit to come back and win at the last second. 🧨

I agree. When it originally started as Jimmy & Jake each chose one, it made sense that Zack would just get the leftover kid since he's offscreen. But since its evolved into a full game, and Joez is also on screen, I think they deserve to be in the rotation for first and second round picks.
Plus we may get more trades this way.

You should put on the colored Guts Jersey of the player you draft at the beginning of each episode, and switch jerseys mid game if a trade does occur.

I’m a musician - and as such, I think of ridiculously awesome/awful potential band names all of the time. My second favorite one ever is “Kids Drink for Free” because it would be hilarious to have on a marquee or on flyers since every club is essentially a bar.

They should do their own GUTS episode in the Jomboy warehouse. Outside of the Astrocrag the rest of the events would be relatively easy to set up and I bet they could hire Moe to officiate it too. Not sure who my draft pick would be though.. Maybe if I had first pick I'd go Jake with the intention of trading him for Joes and a future second round. I think he'd dominate in any of those bungee events including the feet on the wall one but my incur a penalty for kicking the wall over

Mo is now a famous voice actress. She has done tons of huge games. Almost every major game with voice acting in the past 10 years. WoW, Starfield, Skyrim, Hogwarts. She does it all.

Obligatory point scoring note:
Drop the extra numbers for the Crag and just do 300, 500, 700 or better yet just do 3, 5, 7. Only when two kids tie do the 25, 50, 75 matter and that has happened only twice. Start with first and give them 3, and give second 7, and see how the points work out. If first has a lead of 400+ going into the crag they win no matter what.

Can someone please break down the invisible boat event; like... how it works...what is the right method for getting across the pool and why? I feel like i'm losing my mind here. I watched (3) kids do the EXACT same thing with their bodies, moving their arms and legs identically...and one kid almost drowned, one was slow and steady and the other flew across the pool faster than I could run while on a moving sidewalk at the airport. It makes absolutely NO sense.
Jake’s disdain for Little Dynamite is starting to be a real issue in our relationship. I mean this could be irreconcilable differences if he can’t come around on her and recognize the 🐐

I’d wager it’s not a great possibility, even though it would be entertaining. The recent documentary on it really showed how beat up and used those people were, and how poorly made the challenges were for the participants health. Maybe it is a possibility. I just don’t feel that it’s very high.
