      I love your videos! I was so bummed to see that you didn't have any made for HELLP and preeclampsia though :(. Please consider making videos about those topics. They won't benefit me because I'm almost done with school but I'm sure it could help other nursing students!

    an easy way to remember it is the following:
    VEAL CHOP
    V (variable) C (cord compression)
    E (early decels) H (head compression)
    A(acceleration) O (OK)
    L(late decels) P( placental insufficiency)

      instead of MINE we were taught TOASt.
      Turn to the left side
      Ok
      Acceptable
      STop= Stop pitocin, Turn patient on side, O2 via face mask, Plain IV fluid increased
      Either way, these little mnemonics are super helpful!

    My OB teacher taught us VEAL CHOP to remember. If you write them next to each other it tells you what's going on.
    V - variables ---> C - cord compression
    E - Earlies ----> H - Head compression (normal)
    A - Accelerations ------> O - oxygenation (baby has good oxygen)
    L - Lates -----> P - placental inefficiency

    Great job, thanks, I just like to talk about the nursing intervention because our professors like to ask about them. Early decelerations just document because is a normal finding. In the late deceleration, we can change mom's position to help that placenta to brings more oxygen. Remember if the mom is supine, she's compressing the inferior vena caba and reposition her helps a lot in that late deceleration. Variable deceleration is find because cord compression and we can reposition the mom again(Sims position)and brings oxygen, too. Im almost ready for my ENCLEX exam, thanks for that again.
