    I think there's
    minial variability with 3-5 bpm
    Moderate with 6-25 bpm
    and Marked with >25 bpm

It’s been years since I graduated from nursing school and don’t remember any thing from my L&D class or clinical. Thanks for making this so simple to understand. You have boosted my confidence. 😊

    I have to say I have taken couple of beginning fetal monitoring courses, and spoken with different nurse educators. I just wasn’t getting it, until now. I am so much more comfortable reading and understanding this content. New Subscriber. Kudos to you and your teaching skills. 👏🏾👏🏾

    Great explanations but I wanted to make one critique.. Variability is categorized as the following: absent- zero variability, minimal-0-5, moderate is 6-25 and 26 and above is marked.. In fetal heart monitoring, knowing what type of variability is KEY because it really tells the oxygenation status of the fetus, Hope this helps clear things up :-)

      Hi, as a new L and D nurse, do they usually go after the nurses for money, or is it more the physicians and hospital? I am just worried they are going to take my assets, and the job is not worth that risk.
