Kathryn & Michael Got Married - Altahammond House, Carrickfergus Wedding Venue in Northern Ireland

What a way to finish off the wedding season! My last celebration of 2023 was with the incredible Kathryn and Michael in Carrickfergus.
Mother Nature threw us a wobbler - the tail end of Storm Gerrit unleashed its fury on the charming coastal town with rain and wind that had me worried! But just as the ceremony concluded, the skies miraculously cleared.
This perfect timing allowed us to capture stunning portraits by fisherman's quay with the iconic Carrickfergus Castle as our backdrop.
The celebrations continued at the beautiful Altahammond House. Filled with festive cheer, the Christmas sleigh made an appearance! Kathryn and Michael, embracing the winter chill, gleefully took their loved ones for joyrides around the grounds, creating unforgettable memories.
And then, the pièce de résistance! Just before dinner, the clouds parted, revealing the most breathtaking sunset imaginable. The sky exploded in a kaleidoscope of purples and oranges, mirroring the colors of Kathryn's favorite Disney movie, Beauty and the Beast. I couldn't resist stealing Kathryn and Michael away for another round of portraits bathed in this magical light.
The evening continued with a heartwarming first dance to "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" by The Ink Spots, setting the perfect tone before the party truly ignited!
Congratulations again, Kathryn and Michael! Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness together.
