2 ways of sending bike : 1- As Parcel and 2- As Luggage
.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:
.
1- RC Card of Bike
2- Valid Insurance of Bike
3- Aadhar Card
4- Confirmed Ticket in Same Train (If Sending as Luggage)
.
(Carry 2-3 Sets of Photocopies of all documents)

COST CALCULATION:
.
ACTUAL COST:
(Distance x Weight of Bike) + Packing + Insurance (1% of Declared Value of Vehicle)
.
WEIGHT is NOT the actual weight of bike but is calculated according to the CC of bike.

2 Slabs of Weight: Less than 350cc and More than 350cc
.
PACKING: Usually done by the agents/middlemen. (800-1000/-)
.
ADDITIONAL COST:
- Agent/Middlemen charges (1000-1500/-)
- Coolie charge at exit port (200-300/-)
- Fuel at exit port (150-200/-)
.

PRE-REQUISITES:
- Fuel tank needs to be completely empty
- Reach Station minimum 2-3 hours before departure time

I Transported the Bike from Mumbai (Bandra) - Chandigarh for SPITI Ride and got it back on the same route

Break up of Cost I paid:
.
5000/- to Agent at Mumbai + 200/- to Coolie at Chandigarh + 150/- for 1 Ltr of Fuel
.
4500/- to Agent at Chandigarh + 200/- to Coolie at Mumbai + 200/- for 1 Ltr of Fuel

Ab apko vichle receive krna hai pr apke pass vo original bilti nhi hai,
Apke pass uska wtts app hai toh kya railway apko receiving de dega

Depends on the type of bike. There are 2 categories, one is below 350 cc and another is above 350 cc. For bandra to chandigarh it costed me 3000 plus agent fees

@@thegomadics1555 if your bike is in 12 months EMI, then they will disassemble and send 12 parts one after the other, if 24 months, then 24 parts will be sent. Kabira tere bike ke tukre tukre karke kutto ko khila dega.

50% - humari bike jate time scratchless condition me gayi train se or wahi aate time 1 bada scratch aya return k train me. Scratch wahi aayenge jo part thik se cover nahi kia hoga so try krna maximum bike wrapped ho .
