This was great! I wish I could be a shopper at Costco and randomly see Penn jumping and clicking his heels together while mouthing the lyrics to the song playing in his AirPods. 😂 Kim, you are a good wife following him around with the camera!
I love how Penn can just sing and dance in a busy Costco without feeling embarrass. I love this keep it up it was so funny and catchy
And you know the employees and manager must love it, because #publicity.
The recorder made an appearance! Only person I've ever seen who can actually play that instrument. Great job.

I looked at that ham every trip for 6 months before finally breaking down and buying it 😂 totally worth it, but it’s a LOT of meat. Consider inviting over friends to help eat it!

I can't even tell you how much this hit home with me. I've bought so many unnecessary things at Costco. I even tried to convince my husband to get that exact Bevy Bar. LOL! Great song!!!

Gotta say, I was legitimately surprised to see a jamón serrano in Costco. I know we export it, but I always thought it was mostly the same plastic packages with several slices most people get here-not the whole leg! Lol.
And yes, jamón serrano doesn't need preservatives or anything because of the process it undergoes. We always have a leg every Christmas in my family, and it can easily last up to six months out in the open, covered by a thin cloth at most.
Fun fact(s):
1) It is called 'serrano' because of the custom of curing the ham in high places in the sierras (highlands), where the low temperatures facilitate curing.
2) The best (most expensive) kind of jamón serrano is the one called 'pata negra' (literally, black leg). It comes from a mostly black breed of Iberian pigs that are fed exclusively with acorns-that's what gives it it's incredible flavour!
3) The best jamón ibérico out there is the one called Cinco Jotas.
Well, that's all. I just hope you guys enjoyed it. It is one of the highlights of Spanish gastronomy for a reason :)

The Serrano ham is awesome! My brother got one for the family for Christmas this year and it was amazing. Just make sure that you slice it as thin as possible when carving and that you store it at night properly. With 7 adults it lasted 2 weeks and we ate it every day with our own little happy hour.
Yes! Have it with Manchego cheese, Spanish green olives, and good Rioja wine and you've got a party!
What is the proper night time storage?
@@lachlannae From what I recall - when you cut off the top (fatty part), save it and put it back on the ham at night to keep the moisture in, and then wrap the whole thing in saran wrap and store in a cool/dry place (we used the garage).
@@lachlannae As Shelley said, you have to keep the cut parts covered to keep them from drying out. Usually you use the fat flap you cut off but you can also smear a little olive oil on there then plastic wrap it.
You have to try the Jamón Ibérico de Bellota 100% ibérico (from Spain), it's 100x better then Serrano Ham. Serrano Ham is for sandwiches, Jamón Ibérico de Bellota is for eating it alone (it's around 10 times more expensive)
This was me my first few trips to Costco. I've learned to temper that enthusiasm. Mostly. But just for fun I like to call my wife and ask if I can get ____ because "it's a great deal". Like a 24 oz can of Parmesan cheese or a 50 lb bag of rice.
But I do buy the 72 count Waffles because I have 4 hobbits who eat. All. Day. Long. Second breakfast anyone?

As I sit here I'm waiting for my English muffin to finish toasting. Ate breakfast a few hours ago, this is #2!

My 9 year old has eaten one of the seaweed packages by himself in 2 days. The Kirkland ones are yummy, and the Maui (pink) ones are kinda sweet and good as well! Also, I need to go to costco... again... because we are out of seaweed. Again. It counts as a vegetable.
Yeah, I have to pick up a 10-pack of seaweed. My teenager will happily snarf down a package of that as the veggies-for-today. And give me A Look if I ask for a piece!
