    The easiest way to cut slippery fabrics is to put thin paper under the fabric, once you have put a few pins nothing will move as you cut even if you use bulky scissors. Your edges will be straight and your curves precise.

    Lovely♥ A question: How did you do the front part with buttons? I mean, the buttons go until the waist or just go until the chest?

    Sorry but you did not nail it . There was no glittery material along the top of the breast . The belt is all wrong and the the base of the skirt was satin, and the 3 layers of organza were rows cut like shark bite . They were reverse painted with a very faded bronze leopard print . It may have looked like some kind of lace but it was not. Jenna did a tictoc in a very bright room - she was wearing a full body suit when she put on the dress. Thats how I know this is true. So anyone trying to make a true copy - you should find what Jenna posted.

    • @gorgeouslyvintage
      @gorgeouslyvintage  Год назад +3

      Thank you for taking the time to write a very complete comment about how I did not nail it 😊 and how it is not a true copy of the original dress 🤗. You are absolutely right, the dress I made is inspired and a recreation, which is not ment to be a true copy. Which is why I took some artistic liberties and made it more to my style. ✨🪡
