Thank you, Matt! I really, really like that you actually report issues, I also noticed that in your KDE video. Many people have the "BuT It WoRkS On My MaChInE" mentality.
Thank you for being a human making video for humans. Much appreciated. You would not believe the amount of AI generated crap content out there. All of it just steals content and shows lots of 1-2 second video clips and using text-to-speech for the narration. I'm sick of it all. Thanks for your content!
I installed Fedora 41 on hardware to check it out, and it kept freezing up on me. It didn't actually fully crash, but it would only move the cursor or notice a mouse click after at least 30 seconds or so. I was pretty bummed. Looking for a stable Linux platform to move back off Windows 11 again. I'm a programmer (data analyst) and nearly all of my tools work on Windows, Mac, or Linux. I used to run Linux for several years --but hey, I really liked Windows 11 and the Explorer. I was productive in it. But now Recall has me running away like the wind. I cannot have proprietary data bein screen snapshotted all day long. Looking for suggestions if anyone offers one up. At one time or another I've tried nearly all distributions over the past couple of decades. I'm also going to be building out a new machine early next year. Yes, I'm sticking with AMD. Been rocking them with success since my Ryzen 7 1700x build like 8 years ago (I think!). My hardware, in case you are wondering: AMD Ryzen 9 5900x on X570 board NVidia 3080 TI 32 GB RAM Several TB of NVME SSDs Cheers!
Hello there! Is there a possibility to show us the newbies how to install NVIDIA DRIVERS in fedora 41 KDE or is it the same process as before? Thank you
Thank you Matt. I have just installed 41 beta and trying to make my usual shortcuts in keyboard settings. I usually type "gnome-terminal" and then in command "gnome-terminal" again and then press the keys I want to use I mostly use Alt/T. It is not working in Fedora 41 beta. Have you stumbled upon this and know of a solution?
Great vid, yeah my only issues on fedora 40 is the wine preloader. not sure whats the fix other than probably getting the latest wine available since ngl wine 9.15 has a lot of issues

Yep a have some issues on F40 with GE proton and proton they sometimes not run.
Also wifi after installing nvidia drivers gets messed up
