This is legit one of the best osrs series on RUclips right now. I legit think your channel is about to explode. Keep pumpin out the awesome content man!
I know you're far beyond this episode and may have already moved into whichever path you choose for "should i do further exceptions for further content" but "massive grinds to unlock massive content" is a great general philosophy for those sorts of things i think. I like the idea and the examples, great ways to not just invalidate the accounts premise while also allowing it do more things in the endgame.
Hey, just wanted to let you know I found this series through a recommendation of solo mission (on his mission solo channel talking about golden gnomes). Really enjoying it so far, already binged the first 3 episodes and still going strong.
Dude, honestly, this is the most interesting account I have found so far series wise on RUclips. Absolutely loving it and can't wait to seeing future vids! Would also enjoy it very much if you'd ramble or theory craft about the future of the account. Can imagine sending us updates with your restrictions will take a while so maybe that could fill a little gap? Here for every update though!
I love watching this guy start an account from scratch, majoritably using content I've never personally interacted with. Sick series man and excited to watch the next one.
IMO having goals like needing the zulrah pet for priff would just be god tier content. Progress like this made ricecup's solo raids specialist into something special, and even though they're a bit unorthodox in the current snowflake meta, they really do make for amazing videos.
Sorta unrealistic imo, that just means he might never see prifd. The idea is there but drop rates can be way too cruel to lock something so big behind the zulrah pet. Just my thoughts
I personally think as a boss locked IM you should have the simple exception that you're allowed to do the bare minimum to unlock bosses. IE you must get any possible quest item from the current bosses available, you don't keep any resources gained from skill grinds unless they are obtained via boss drops etc. Would be quite a stretch but possibly allow slayer and turael skip anything that doesn't have a boss variant available because otherwise you miss out on a lot of bosses as well. You might have thought this out a lot further than I have I suppose since you can probably still do cox and maybe tob if the quests are allowed and with a firecape and barrows get a decent setup either way but that might end up pretty repetitive later in the series.
I'n the future I'm thinking of allowing myself to unlock more bosses when I get certain drops. If I get the zulrah pet I could unlock prif quest line. Stuff like that :)
I enjoyed that bit of math at the end for the expected time to kill the chaos elemental. The result you got (1h51min) is only a lower bound though. To obtain the actual value you would have to consider the number of hitpoints healed in those extra 27 minutes healed during the first of 83 minutes, then the hitpoints healed in the extra time that gives, and so on. Evaluating the resulting (geometric) infinite series gives you the expected time to kill of 125min=2h5min, which makes your fight with the chaos elemental seem even luckier. The math behind such combat scenarios is actually pretty interesting. Overkill at the end of the fight and the fact that the enemy cannot overheal will add their tiny contributions if you work out the length of the fight using a probabilistic model. In fact when working with probabilities you could in most cases calculate a finite expected length for the fight, even if the enemy regenerated faster than the average damage dealt per hit.
This is one of the best series I've ever seen, one of the few things I've enabled notifications for and wait for the next episode with anticipation. Thank you for making these!
Was actually thinking today about when were you gonna release a new episode, can't believe you actually delivered lmao. Great series man, keep the good grind up!
That Chaos Elemental Kill is a major achievement - it probably would have been faster to train and come back to it later, however, its that feeling of accomplishment and using your newly acquired scimmy far outweighs efficiency
My journey is one of the furthest things away from efficiency lol. I do plan to go back for the Chaos Element after some more levels which will be much better :)
Even when playing on "normal" accounts, I always prefer to give content a go before I'm completely ready. It's not efficient but the challenge feels way more engaging and fun. Though nothing as extreme as this video! lol
12k well deserved you’re putting out quality content and I don’t doubt for a second you’ll hit 100k in a years time if you continue this build and keep pushing well thought out strategic content !
Bloody good series mate, and love the progress in this vid. Honestly surprised by the theory crafting and discoveries just opens up more ideas for us all, the chaos ele spot makes me want to finally get a dpick on the iron coz if you can do it with those stats i have no excuse now haha
In case you plan on training Agility further, I highly recommend the little house between the master farmers house and the house with the fruit stalls in hosidius. I only has 2 open tiles, keeping the mice from escaping
@@Zayzed theres a 1x1 tile in 54 wildy upstairs of the boat with the larrans chest. or you can get someone to close a door on you 2nd floor varrock castle (where my friend got scammed for his DHL because the door gets stuck.

At the end, you're forgetting that the chaos ele regenerates again in those 83 new HP, making it take longer. The simple way to calculate this is to take your dpm and substract 1 from the regen. That would make the kill be 125 mins long. You're hitting it more often than once a minute though. (1.175*3)-1 = DPM = 2.525, 250 / 2.525 = 99m to kill, in reality it is a bit faster since it is not gonna regen once it is dead but it is close enough.
such a sick account with only 1 exception. the saw. But even legendary snowflakes have to have exceptions. I love the puritanical approach to exceptions. it makes the videos so awesome!
I'm really enjoying this series! I do have a few questions though: Why are you able to train agility using toy mice? Yes you obtained the supplies to make the toy mice from bosses, but isn't this similar to getting an axe and then chopping a tree (which you don't allow as no consumable is being used)? Thanks for enjoying it and thanks for the questions. Firstly for the toy mice I just never thought of them as tool to be honest. They feel different from the normal tools since I could have only gotten it from bosses and not brought it in a shop anywhere. But I do see where your coming from with making an axe like you mentioned. I just didn't really think of it that way. For why I allowed collecting buckets of sand. I feel like it is the same as collecting vials of water. I know it's a bit different since vials os water aren't a drop from bosses. But I collecting sand is still locked behind another resource to actually use being seaweed which is still very rare on my account and makes this method not abuse able. But there will be little inconsistencies with the series since I do miss some things and don't think it all through.
@@Zayzed Yeah toy mice don't really feel like a tool, I do see what you are saying.
