Estonia Fights Off Russian Hybrid Attacks: GPS Jamming in the Baltics

GPS interference in the Baltic Sea region is the result of Russian electronic warfare systems and it is an international threat to air navigation. Plane flights between Estonia and Finland are already being cancelled. But Estonians do not fall to Russian provocations and will stand up to threats - as declared by the country's authorities.

Russia always want to create a buffer zone for security. Then it Russifies the buffer zone and needs to create a new buffer zone to defend it

If Russia wants a buffer zone, it should be on internationally recognized Russian territory. Russia is one of the few countries I have to specify "internationally recognized" because of how many countries Russia claims territory in.

So how are they fighting off the GPS attacks?

They have to revert back to navigation systems that were used before GPS, so inertial navigation systems on the aircraft, with VOR/DME and even very basic NDBs on the ground, with ILS approaches to airports. All aircraft already have the equipment to use all of those systems to be instrument-certified, and their crew need to be able to use navigational aids of those types to get even a basic instrument rating, never mind the type rating for any transport category aircraft.
Personally, I'd locate the source of the interference using the radio waves it is emitting and wipe it off the face of the earth, with a single warning, but the flustered, timid little scaredy cats in the assorted foreign offices of the Western "powers" would soil themselves at the very mention of the idea.
