    A master class right here. Oh, how I loved him. Ever since I was introduced to his music with ALL FLY HOME in 1981. I got to see him one time live. Today I'm just listening to all the classics. It was Stevie Wonder for several hours today, and now it's Al Jarreau. He's timeless.

    He really slowed this down from his original recording on the Breakin' Away album. This is so sexy!

    Thank you so much for posting this. Especially in light of yesterday's news, I feel so fortunate that I was at this concert! Watching it brought back such great memories of that magic night. Are you allowed to post more tunes from that concert?

    • @LisaGemini
      @LisaGemini 2 года назад +1

      That must've been a real night to remember. I only saw him once in the '90s in St. Pete, FL. And he didn't have a swinging band like this to back him up. This is heavenly.

    Thank nice the way he sings it, BUT....Sammy Davis Jr. sings it better in my opinion...."Teach Me Tonight".

      Syneathia Bell : Al Jarreau sings it better than this when he's not adlibbing.

  • @barbaraboyd3967
    @barbaraboyd3967 5 лет назад

    I Love the song...but I agree with Syneathia, that Sammy Davis Junior sings it much better...sometime you can over do it.
