I wore the YEEZY Slides in the Ochre colorway for a month straight! The YZY Slide has had sneaker release dates through 2020 and into 2022 and a retail price of $60, however the Yeezy Slide now resells on StockX and Goat for between $150 to $300. Oh man, I know Seth always brings early reviews and super fire sneakers but with these slides and the foam runners, it's like really exiting to me, what we all see is just a pair of flip flops but the fact that I haven't got the chance to buy for retail( and no I won't spend more than 150 for a piece of foam), makes me really want to go for them.

I bought the pure slides when they released for resale ofc :/ And im using them every day! If it wasnt for winter here in Norway, i would have used them outside too. I love the slides, and i plan to cop a whole lot more of them in different colours.

i have the pure version that came w the ochre (same texturized material) definitely shoulda sized down, but my resin pair def needed a sz up which i did, def need more colorways of the slides

Got a pair of ochres a couple months ago and I agree with everything you just said. The material and quality is really good and it’s the comfiest shoe I have. It also looks great IMO. I would recommend to everyone.

I got these in green glow, enflame orange, and onyx….best colors for these!!! Even resale is worth it. The best comfort I’ve ever felt in a shoe\ slide….this is second to my Yeezy 700 enflame amber and wave runner.
Do these give you blisters rubbing against your foot like designer slides do? That's always been an issue with slides I've had and I've considered selling mine and getting a pair of Yeezy Slides just cause they look more comfortable

I own a beachside bakery cafe and have been wearing the ochres most days during summer here in Sydney. They are comfortable and I am on my feet all day in hot temperatures. The material is quite sticky, which is great for not slipping, but it also means the outsole picks up alot of dirt so I have to wash them most days. They are really easy to wash and dry though. I still find the Adidas Pharrell Williams boost slides more comfortable because they have an adjustable strap which works better for my wide foot
you don't wear them with socks though mate ?

I went true to size on the ochres, they were one size too small. I'm an 11 US, and the pair I ordered fit a size 10. Strange.
been using the onyx colorway and they’re comfy, I love em and they’re only creased on the part where your toes are when you put the slides

ive worn my almost everyday for near a year and half. these are some of my favorite shoes and if i cant get a restock id be okay with resale prices.
Love them. Was never a slide person, but I decided to pick up the Pure colorway to see what all the hype was about.... and then had to pick up the Ochre colorway as well.

@@good-tn9sr I wear a 9.5 in Nikes and usually get a 10 in Yeezys. So with everyone saying to size up I decided to go with an 11. That being said I wish I would have gone with a 10. I think the older releases I probably would have been fine, but I think the newer ones sizing is a little more accurate.
How old was this experiment? If it's recent isn't it freezing cold out there how did you wear them everywhere?

i got thze ochre in a size 12 and pure in a size 11. normaly in aj1 or so i wear 9,5 - 10 but both of my slides fit me too small

to be fair i think the slides are a great silhouette to use when marketing apthcry socks...especially with shorts in the upcoming seasons...shows off a lot more of the sock then a birkenstock or sneaker...best part there's no branding on the slides...so more focus on APTHCRY socks! Crocs had these 'slides' like already in the 1990's. Still have them. Yeezy just removed the holes on top and changed the colour. Crocs don't have the 'slides' I am talking about, anymore in stock.

Has anyone else gotten the ochres and feel that they are TTS per Seth’s experience? I have been seeing other videos for the Ochre slides saying to size up. I’m a TTS 12, so go with 12, or size up to 13?

Finally got a dub for retail on the Ochre's... i went a full size up on these just in case and they fit perfectly.. So happy I was finally able to hit retail.

I have been using yeezy slides for the past 2 day’s not a lot cuz it’s not very hot in my country butt i use my ochre colour way with white socks and when i take the slides off i got small stains of brown on them is that normal or idk why but a slight brown is on my socks after using them. Spent $150 on this pair and I honestly don’t regret it. Puffy slides is my mode now and these are by far the comfiest I’ve ever worn. Now if I can get my hands on a decent priced pair of Soots or Onyx’s.

The ochre are not true to size for me. Had to get 1 full size up.
Strange that you say that they fit true to size. A lot of other RUclipsrs say that they fit very snug and that you should go up at least 1 size and maybe even 2 sizes.

Im a half size (10.5) in adidas and 11 in yeezy … i half size up to 11 on the Soot(original release), Pure (original release), ochre and 1 full size up to 12 on the glow green… the 11’s leave me with 1/4 inch or less of space in back which is perfect and the glow green closer to a 1/4-half inch of space in back which is okay not too big at all… hope this helps someone make a decision bc it’s not an easy one to make!

I use my slides as a modern version of Japanese slippers. I am a very cleanly person, and I use my shoes for things outside, and slides in the house. I got my runners for going out to walk the dog, and my slides to wear around the house and chill at my desk, make some food, etc. I can’t wait to get more slides for outside use!

I have 3 pairs of slides. Core, Soot and bone, all size 12 and the've all had different sizing... so I dunno what that's about. Also, I wore the core slides all summer last year and they wear down a lot as far and compressing down the teeth on the sole, creasing in the mid and toe box, and loosening up around your foot.. still look dope all beat tho and I love it. Favorite summer shoe by far.
well what i noticed is that the newer pairs are way softer & run smaller than the og colorways. i have a 9 in the bone pair, fits perfectly and kinda molded into my foot, very comfy. i had a pure pair but ended up selling them because, while they were way softer than my bone pair, they were way tighter :(

Hey Seth I would love to see you review the mono cinders. Your reviews are always the best and I know it’s gonna be pretty much the same as the mono ice but I would love to see your in depth kind of take on it
The heel off the back is likely to be related to avoiding heel striking. Heel striking is really bad for you. It removes natural suspension like effect of your foot, ankle, knee and hip. Runners will know it well but the Japanese clearly knew it a very long time ago.
I recently got a pair of these and wore them on vacation. I do like them but I wasn’t impressed with them. I still think Foamrunners are way more comfortable than these
