Why
Piccolo will get a bigger spot light if Zalama shows up..The Namekians are direct descendants of Zalama..with Piccolo being the strongest of them all..
At this point, Toriyama NOT subverting expectations would subvert my expectations. Zalama is gonna be some goofy bug or something, and the oracle fish will eat him 2 minutes after he is revealed.

If Zarama does show up. I wouldn't be surprised if Zarama is the God of Creation of the multiverse with Zeno being the God of Distribution of the multiverse. Could even be Zenos parent.

Heey well I had a thought many years ago. What if Zarama is the creator god and Zeno the god of destruction.. So far I have never seen zeno create something.. he only seems to destroy and equal out stuff. Also generally you see that all gods of destruction have a kai of some sort that acts as the positive force, in general the gods of destruction seem to be more powerful, so I am not sure if Zarama would be more powerful then Zeno. Also every god of destruction has an angel at his side.. every noticed how the grand priest is always at Zeno's side?

I've been talking about Zalama ever since he was first mentioned in DBS - The fact that he MIGHT be even more powerful than the Zen-Ohs speaks volumes.

They most likely would, it might take long but remember that he has been mentioned in both manga and anime by Toriyama and toyotaro, so it's not just a anime only toei character, Toriyama is might bring him in the future story's
If they introduce Zalama in this web series, that will be the best for the DB lore.
If they do introduce Zarama they better HEAVILY involve Piccolo in all that, really hope he has a connection to Zarama, moreso than just the Namekian Connection, I hope Piccolo is a Direct descendant or that his father when he and Kami were still fused as the nameless Namekian, that he was the incarnation of Zarama, which would make Piccolo Directly connected to him

@@XinspaceplaysMC what the hell does that even mean? There's nothing wrong with what I said. Are you familiar with the fact that Namekians are birthed by asexual reproduction. And that Namekians can essentially "reincarnate" through their offspring. Piccolos father "reincarnated" into Piccolo Jr by putting all of his spirit and memories and knowledge and power into his Final Egg. That Egg which was Piccolo JR, had all his memories and knowledge of his hatred of Goku. If Zarama is the Progenitor of the Namekian Race, that means he had that power too.
Piccolos Father and Kami, When they were the Nameless Namekian, could very well have been a Egg that was birthed from Zarama himself. Making the Nameless Namekian his descendant/incarnation and inheritor of his will.
It could be that, Or it could be that Zarama had birthed an Egg many many years ago, which gave birth to a Namekian who was the original Ancestor of the Nameless Namekian, and they continued to pass on through their offspring until it finally reached where we are now with Piccolo.
Either way, it's entirely plausible to say that Piccolo could be directly connected to Zarama in these ways. He is the Strongest Namekian across every Universe after all, no other that we've seen or known of has ever reached the level and form that Piccolo has.
I'm calling it now, it's my prediction, Piccolo is more Special than we or even HE knows.
I think namekians will be like a form of his offspring. It was stated in the manga that the namekians arent from universe 6 or 7, but from a "different realm altogether "
Would be interesting if he makes a scene or plays an integral role of the franchise.
I’d love the idea of this show taking place before Battle of gods because it would make the most sense
Personally I would say the original creator was a dragon nemekian that created them and then later split apart because, part was evil or they felt that the power they created was so great that it was not to be allowed to happen again, so they separated just like Kami did to get rid of the evil side of himself

Now, I consider that Dende's Shenron is about as strong as he is. That must mean he's been busy strengthening his mental fortitude between upgrades. His dragon can do things Kami's couldn't. At that point in Daima, Dende's Shenron likely saw another upgrade, likely to coincide with his increased mental fortitude and wisdom as he gets familiar with the Earth and it's desires.
I remember about 6yrs ago on one of your videos i said that Zalama could possibly be the master of the great priest & Zenos father/creator... it would easily put him at the top of the divine hierarchy and it would make perfect sense.
Reckon Piccolos wish activated an ancient curse when he drew power from his lineage and 'hidden power' and awakened The demon king of the Demon realm (the original demon king Piccolo possibly Zalama ) . 100% my prediction.
I think the namekian looking character from the trailer is either Kami or King Piccolo, probably being shown i a cinematic recap of OG Dragon Ball like the re-animated intro to Dragon Ball Super : Super Heroes movie. i don't think it's Zarama / Zalama.....

In the manga it was revealed that Namekians ended in universe 7 after migrating from another dimension
All we know is that some POWERFUL magic is on hand here if they can surpass SS3 and zap everyones age INCLUDING piccollo which hardly has a kid form. I am actually scared for Supreme Kai here but it is a chance for past redemptions. Im so pumped!
Piccolo jr. does have a kid form. We literally see him after being born in dragon ball.
At least you're clearing this up as there are RUclipsrs out there saying Zarama (Zalama) confirmed! When you cannot say that when you need to see the show of Dragon Ball Daima when it comes out, yes we could get a glimpse of the dragon god but I really highly doubt it's one of the antagonists
I thought the whole thing about the Dragons being restricted to the power of their maker was purely in regards to whether a wish can be used to kill someone. Meaning that Shenron can't kill anyone that Dende or Kami couldn't kill. Meanwhile restrictions like Porunga only being able to revive one person per wish was an intentional restriction placed on him by the Namekians as to not abuse the Dragon Balls and upset the natural order of the universe. And they can't revive anyone who dies of natural causes because it's more so a natural restriction placed on the Dragons by the universe itself. Or perhaps because the Namekians in general have limits to how powerful they can make the Dragon Balls where as Zarama does not.

I would be suprised if Toriyama remembers who zalama is. I also wouldnt be suprised if the curse does separate supreme and kibito.

I feel like akira toriyama is working on building the moment regarding making the story focus on making Son Goku a kid again in the attempt to integrate the story back together again with regards when Dragon ball super return. He is making sure that the new audience will not be confused. That is why he is tell a story showing Majin Buu and babidi timeline in the era of DBZ...if you undestand where am I doing with this🤐
i think its going to be an evil counterpart to the gods, angels, and kais, maybe like the demon world versions, to what extend is debatable. i mean in the trailer it looks like possably in hell at a palace of some type, in the palace 2 beings, a taller and shorter one looking on what could be a form of godtube watching how the z fighters has saved the world/universe countless times and being upset about it due to a balance kind of thing. and that smaller one kind of gives me a evil zeno type of vibe
I mean if it's not canon it doesn't have to tie into supers lore. But if it is there's still one way it can make sense placement wise. Say they are wished into being kids again. Kabito Kai never existed before so he can't technically become a kid again so instead the wish could just defuse them into their individual selves and turn them into kids. By technicality it fulfills the wish. Then once they wish for everything to be turned back to "normal" they end up fused again. Something that must be done to again technically fulfill that wish. Once that happens the Kai's realize hey if the wish was able to unfuse us to fulfill itself maybe we can just wish to be unfused. They collect them and wish for that. Sort of a hey I didn't know they could do that... let's just do that then. It would also make sense of them off screening that part.... Because at that point it wouldn't really be a big deal. Only way they can present it and still have it make sense.
If they are going to explore the demon realm I want a canon janemba apparence

They did the same thing with the broly trailer. They showed a close up on Brolys eyes as he powered up and we all knew it was a sayin. It’s definitely a namekian In this trailer.
To me the "eyeball" namekian guy looks old (I am hoping it's King Piccolo so he can fuse with Ma Junior). But it might be more of a remake of Lord Slug maybe?
If Zarama is in this, they may take some ideas from the shadow dragons and make evil god dragons or even the dragon realm (I noticed some ideas from Toyatoro when he did his own version of dragon ball AF manga come into Super like Broly for instance). So the shadow dragons or a form of them and the dragon realm may come into play.
If it is indeed Zalama..then Piccolo better be at the center of it..Namekians being the descendents of Zalama..

I still remember the rampant speculation before Resurrection of F came out. People were so disappointed when none of the fan speculation came true.
Before the video started I was like- Zarama? Who the hell is this guy? And then you reminded me he was mentioned in DBS. Would be amazing to see him on screen and especially if the eye belongs to him and we get a confirmation he is a Namekian. If he is a Namekian he must be the 1st ever Namekian in existence which is so cool. So if we get a new villain Namekian I want to see him clash with Piccoro Jr. son of the Demon King Piccoro and the strongest Namekian at least in universe 7. The universe 6 Namekians were pretty amazing if Piccoro needed Gohan to help him.
In Gt there is Kibito Kai, so whether they are merged or not doesn't mean anything, it could well be a parallel series like Gt. I agree with you Zamara definitely won't look like any fan art, Drago and Namekian are too obvious

I mean Zarama creating infinitely powerful dragons balls and dragon, and both Zenos standing when it was time to summon said dragon, is pretty hard evidence that he is above Zeno.

@@supesisfodder7427Zeno literally stood up for the summoning of Super Shenron. And Goku Black only destroyed the Super Dragon Balls, not Super Shenron or Zalama. It’s never stated how strong the Dragon Balls (that are only summoning tools) are. And in a deleted scene in DBS ep 110 the Grand Priest *shielded* the Omni Kings.

Firstly I Love this storyline and Zalama mystery 🤩🤪.
I think Zalama is most likely a Namekien.
Namekiens have 2 type of strengths (gifts). Mentally and physically. Therefore the strength of the Dragons or Dragonballs is more Mental Strength. And Dendei is a prodigy with Mental and Sensory powers.
But Zalama could just be another being with similar strengths/powers and passed on his skills definitely.

If this is true, then it’s likely super takes place before Daima. This doesn’t mean Daima is a follow up to super, as it will be its own story. But perhaps the true follow up to super can then expand on DBS but include characters from Daima.

I forgot about Zalama or Zarama. I wonder if they're going to introduce a whole bunch of beings comparable to Zeno. Like Zeno is the God of Reality whereas Zalama would be like the God of Magic.
Edit: OOOOOH WAIT. HE LOOKS NAMEKIAN. And on top of that the Namekians crafted the Dragons Balls from these Super Dragon Balls. Meaning they have a very close relation to the Dragon God. Piccolo just got Orange Piccolo from Shenron himself and I'm wondering if it was some of this dude's power as he is a Namekian worthy of possessing such power.

Hey Geekdom, what if Daima turns out to be a series where each season dives into different parts of the Dragon ball timeline that answer the questions we’ve had for a long time? For example, this first season could explain how the super dragon balls were made, next season could be trunk’s original timeline vs dabura but more in depth. Then the next one could be about Yamoshi and so on. Wouldn’t that be a nice curveball?
cool idea but probably not gonna happen. you can watch geek’s new series Dragon Ball Unseen, that’s pretty much what you’re talking about. the first episode was Future Goku vs. Future King Cold and Future Mecha Frieza. episode 2 is gonna touch on how Vegeta got the SSG form. pretty cool stuff
