Only one you can say that is a universally good invest.ent is Laia. Pretty much every unit besides her been painfully mid or a counterpick (collabs included. Overlord only gave one unit you see alot)

I got her in about 50 pulls just for fun and not utility. But, I've been playing for years and I have a lot of resources.
I think Samool has great advice. If you're mid game or less, make sure you have at least two full summon pities for collab characters. You can always get limited characters later.
