Hooves down, this is my most favourite-est song from every album these guys've dropped. It's one of the few songs that sends me into this sort of... blissful state. It cheers me up when I'm sad, and calms me down when I'm hyped. It's like the perfect way to bring me back down to reality. And the sort of 'story' I get from this... god, it's just... wow. It's called "Eve", right? I get the feeling that this song is.... the end. The buildup to the drop is gorgeous, by the way. A-anyway, it's like the buildup to the end. The end of the world, the universe, the sun going out, somethin' like that. So... I can just imagine the last of the ponies, all standing on a hill, looking over the horizon as the sun slowly slips out of view, trailing down the horizon. And... they know it's the end of everything that's coming. But... they're okay with that. It's been a good one. Sure, a few bumps and falls, but, overall? It hasn't just been a good one, but a wonderful one. This song is like... acceptance, and that feeling of when you look back on all the stressful stuff you did today, and just letting out that slow, relaxing and relieved sigh where you feel all the tension. And then the beat drops for the last time, around 4:50 ish. The sun drops below the horizon. Light starts to wane. It's coming, and everyone's accepted it and ready. Honestly, the winddown at 6:26 is probably the most beautiful part. Everything's slowly fading out, and into nothingness. Sweet, gentle nothingness. And yes I pretty much wrote this all during the song and I feel a little like crying I love it so much ;w;

Personal story, my sister is a good person, but she got mixed up with some bad people for a couple of years, and long story short, she wound up doing a year in prison. I was already in love with this song a couple of months before she got out, but when it came time for me to make the three hour drive to go get her, this was the first song we listened to after I picked her up. Already an emotional moment, this song drove us to uncontrollable tears. I'll never forget that moment, and even though it has now been two years since, this song still hits incredibly hard. Thank you so much for this indescribable example of audible bliss, it is in fact in part what has inspired me to create music of my own.
