Meido Roshi is highly detailed and has penetrating discernment in all his lectures. He clarifies many misconceptions about Rinzai Zen practice. I am very grateful to have found his school website, videos, and books.

WOW! I injured my back (spine) in 1984, to recover I began to swim, as I swam I counted, as I counted I considered. I also entered a state of flow which carried me through my day. At that time there was no cushion (spoon). Ha Ha Ha

46.39 advaita = not two. There is no mind to control if the Self is realised. In the realised man the mind may be active or inactive, the Self alone exists. - 'Ramana Maharshi'. No ignorance and also no extinction of it, no path, no attainment, with nothing to attain. Far apart from every deluded view they dwell in nirvana. - Heart sutra
