Great interview but very annoyed at the host interrupting Dr. Hyman every other word!!!! Wow!!!! Dr. Hyman handled that well. Let the expert speak!!!! Lord have mercy! If time was an issue then do 2 sessions.
I'm watching this in 2024 and realizing how radical he sounded in 2010, saying that most cases of Type 2 diabetes could be reversed with diet and lifestyle changes. Back then, as he noted, other doctors were saying this wasn't possible because they never saw any patients doing this. Now it's become a standard part of the treatment!

Dr. Hyman, always enjoyable to watch/listen, even his older material, facts don't change. He seems to really care. He does so many altruistic deeds, that I cannot keep up with all of them. Of all the youtube health videos I watch, Dr. Hyman is by far the best!!

India need u like a doctor, diabetes patients maximum....they send lot of money in medicine like daily food intake. Please put lot of video that helps every human being outside of USA.
I read this book followed it loosely at first by just giving up wheat n sugar....I've lost 25lbs n feel amazing since a year ago. I didn't realize I was a junk-food junkie.... I now crave and love raw organic vegetables!
A doctor prescribed me a PrevPac for elevated levels of H-Pylori bacteria which made me more sick. The Biaxin tablet caused severe nausea. I switched to taking enteric coated Peppermint softgel caps, which I take in the evening before bed. In the morning I take a swig of a probiotic. I've been taking it for over a year now and the results have been awesome for me. Cutting out fatty lunches helped me lose 15 lbs in 3 months. My metabolism is back to what it was in my early 30's, burning calories without any weight gain.

There are many people who still do not know or understand what would be good to eat, because they are so scared when they get a diagnosis of having diabetes and all the scare tactics they get from their doctors! Long time follower of Dr. Hyman. But the interviewer is absolutely terrible and much more interested in what he has to say than what Dr. Hyman is saying. I struggled to listen to the whole presentation with all of the interruptions that Dr. Hyman had to endure.
