    ❤❤ It’s been three years since I read Robert Lustig book and remember visiting Mexico which my Dad past and saw family. They were all drinking Coca Cola and everyone was dying.. then reading Robert lustig book and how sugar kills. I eliminated all sugar for two years and I lost 80 lbs and have much more energy and no headaches. Wow, great work. Yes, I eat meat also but what was killing me and family in mexico is sugar.. Thank you.

    Please, Dr. Hyman will you explain why I should not be very concerned about the high levels of IGF1 in meats and particularly this other component that is high that irritates and inflames the wall of the arteries? Thank you.

    You told the truth and that is awesome. Thank you for doing that. A lot of people believe a lot of stuff. That's not true, and they'll believe it. Can you can't tell her anything different even though it's not true. I'm glad you got that out there for people to realize and to think before they say that was a study so it's true. But the study was so faults in many ways

      Most studies are not statistically Valid, always look first at who Funds the Study, what benefits them.
      You can prove anything by the way the study is set up. Be very careful and evaluate all information. Like news channels , there is basically nothing accurate there. It takes time, research, effort to find the Facts. It is too easy to manipulate people today, lies and false information is condoned.

    Seriously, Institutional Review Boards are gonna have to start screening study authors for biases before allowing these studies to continue and they are going to have to take a closer look at the study design and methods/tools to be used. If I was on a review board, and they said they were going to use the questionnaire that they did, I would have rejected it 💯💯💯💯

  • @MaxPommer-h6d
    @MaxPommer-h6d 4 месяца назад

    There does appear to be a snag with meat, though: it's high in phosphorus, as I was told by my nephrologist. Yet I have become aware of is that I should tap heme-iron rich resources like eggs, oysters, (red) meat and, in particular, liver. It can be rather critical if you tend to be anemic...
    Red beet? Yeah - well, sure it contains iron, but it is non-heme iron which is not so well available to ingestion and the reason why it mostly passes your digestion (notice it by the red color in your stool).

    When faced with conflicting conclusions about health (or anything else), it is safest to assume that the government is lying.

    • @mirozynd4504
      @mirozynd4504 8 месяцев назад

      Saying that the government is lying is a metaphor to convey the problem that the political system is flooded with corporate influence and lobbying efforts to promote their specific financial interests.
      It is the food, pharmacological, hospital corporations which are promoting confusion about health instead of seeking the truth to protect their respective industries' revenues.
      Do you think that the goal of the above mentioned corporations is the healthy population ?
      Only for the example's sake, Big Harma (aka Pharmacological Corporations) has been trying to hide the strong health benefits of vitamin D for decades since its massive supplementation would result in their loss of sales (of expensive drugs )to sick patients etc.

      I think you mean 'corporations' and 'market economics'. 'We' are the government, but we are washed in propaganda from the money class to accept this predatory system.
      Government is a word for structure, anarchy is the alternative. As a combat vet that's survived situations like that, I can assure you that it's far worse than your current situation.

    I read that study and its a total BS study. It is so flawed, I really don't understand how it was even able to pass peer review. Were the reviewers asleep or medicated?!?!! As soon as I saw that study come out I questioned it. When I reviewed the study itself, as I have been trained to do because I am a public health researcher myself, I saw many MANY omissions and confounding factors. Meanwhile, I then saw a ton of diabetes patients begin freaking out that they had to stop eating red meat. The study is irresponsible to say the least. Thank you for clarifying for the public of folks who are actually paying attention!

    I have listened to you for years, and completely agree that sugar is the cause of type 2. But as an influencer, I don't think you should suggest people eat meat as if it is a simple and no thought choice without any consideration on the behind-the-scenes horrors that humanity so coldly outsources. If we can live a cruelty free life, I think we should. Regardless of our own health tweeks.

    • @MichaelSalo

      I would argue that determining what causes human health has to come first. Once this is understood, then we can develop ethical and sustainable means to the end. If people are sick, then it's not ethical or sustainable. The answer may be something like regenerative agriculture, which Dr Hyman has devoted episodes to before.

    We are frugavoures. Our digestive system is super long alike herbivores n other plant eaters ie meant for fibre. All carnivorous n omnivorous have super short digestive system meant for meat.
    The main cause is lack of excersise and white highly processed sugar. Truth doesnt care for your opinions.
    I have type 1 diabetes and you are not talking truth on a small part. I have to consume carbohydrates and my insulin use in my body is super sensitive so much that my body weight the nurse said needs this much insulin which nearly unalived me. So much i suffer hypoglycaemia often even tho ive lowered my insulin as much as i can to have balance. I only eat eggs as a flexitarian. Ive been vegan 5 years now a flexitarian, in total 9 years on plant based diet.
    The china study of 8.8 million people proved meat can cause cancer. No matter which type of meat ie grass fed or not they all get vaccinated. I want only pure food which raises your vibration. Spirit has told me as a clairvoyant meat lowers your vibration.
    Meat is processed. We have to know who's paying for the study ie government, pharmaceutical or the food n meat industry. Meat also produces in the body uric acid which is not good for us.
    There is an 81 year old woman on utube whom went raw vegan since 40 years old n excersised daily and she still looks 40 years old.

    The only reason I don't eat red meat much is because it takes too long to digest

    • @-What-are-your-thoughts
      @-What-are-your-thoughts 8 месяцев назад +2

      The reason it takes longer is because it has way more nutrients. If you eat something and poop it out fairly quickly that’s your body telling you to get it out. I was on a plant based diet and I would have 3 bowel movements a day sometimes. Not to be gross but mostly quite a bit would come out, sometimes diarrhea and constipation
      Since I’ve been on the Conivore I have a bowel movement every 2-3 days , not much to it and I’m never constipated or have diarrhea.

    • @les9058
      @les9058 7 месяцев назад

      Fast digestion doesn't always allow full nutrient absorption, imp to your Bodies ability to function correctly. Meat keeps you full longer and provides far more protein your body requires!
