Yeah, it does work, but not as good as the real one, since I've recreated JustM's Lego Colt M1911 pistol entirely from scratch, just looking at the pictures he posted on his mocsmarket page for the instructions...but hope you enjoy building this :) it'll definitely save you the money to get the instructions :D

Bro, this instructions I made aren't even the same as the real one man. Go ask the rest of those people who built it. They'll say that it'll jam sometimes, plus the way I built the trigger mech isn't the same either. So what do you mean I have no respect for making instructions for my own recreations???
