I will be back very soon with new stories to tell. Minecraft is far bigger then just this server and I have tons of ideas saved up. Big things coming soon.
I never thought that this series is gonna end... but it did. This journey is not only meant for the Dream SMP Members but also by the audience who witnessed it all. Thank you Evan for making this wonderful documentary of the Dream SMP.
The fact that this dropped literally 3 days after Stampylonghead did his finale is really perfect. It was a tale of two Minecraft stories. One stretching over ten years, one stretching barely three. One from one of the oldest creators in the space, one from most of the newest. One based on a single cat writing some weird stories, one based on countless different players writing their own stories and interconnecting them all. Both bringing joy to millions. Both bringing tears at the end. Both bringing a new member to the Minecraft hall of fame.
Well guys, this has been a journey. December 31, 2021-October 23,2023. This was one of the greatest minecraft documentary series, and I'm so glad to have been there with so many others. Thank you Evan, for all the work you put in and for all the memories.
For me it was the opposite: I always thought Tommy was just making chaos for nothing, bringing people to fight for his damn discs, but this video showed me Tommy actually sacrificing the discs. Now I'm happy.😅
Learned that the hard way with Stampy's Lovely World as well, this week. The important part is, loving something is worth every freaking second, no matter the pain you feel when it's gone.
That ending, man! The fact that he recited the first few sentences from the first video in this series really gave it that vibe! And those credits, man. That's probably the most emotional Minecraft song in the soundtrack, the way the music builds the whole time while the same 3 notes are repeated, and the images in the background were so nostalgic. I can't express my love and gratitude for this series in words. EvanMCGaming, if you're reading this, thank you. I'm so glad these videos exist.
A breathtaking series. Those end credits and nostalgic soundtrack. It's like your actually there. If you are reading this, your comment was exactly everything I would've said. ❤❤❤
1:02:20 Meanwhile, in a land of ice and snow, Philza and Nihachu, preparing for a celebration of life, received a dire warning from the Goddess of Death - something terrible was coming. The two followed the Goddess to a location all too familiar - the Syndicate meeting room. The Goddess was shocked to see the portal frame decorated as a table, while Philza and Nihachu were wondering at the presence of ConnorEatsPants' Ghost, as well as a friendly pink sheep. Clearing the portal frame of obstructions, the Goddess placed twelve blazing pearls and opened a hole to a starry void. They would seek refuge with her friend, and avoid the destruction that would soon arrive. Connor and his sheep entered first, followed by Nihachu. Philza hesitated, but for his goddess, he would do anything. They jumped.

I love Wilbur's finale, it's the perfect mix of ridiculousness and emotion and offers the lovely possibility L'manberg was in the Great Salt Lake the whole time.
Even though this is the end, I just want to thank you Evan for creating this documentary about the Dream SMP. This ride has been a blast and I’m glad I got to ride it till the end. Thank you again ❤️
I gotta say... this was one of the best Minecraft Stories I've ever watched. The characters, their motivations, the conflicts and etc. The way how everything interconnected from the beginning to the end is just amazing. The true desire of it was just simple times with great adventures with people you love, but power has ruined everything. Truly a masterpiece. The saddest part is that one of them is not among us to see this finale, but I'm sure he would be proud of it. What a beautiful long journey this was. Goodbye, Dream SMP. Thank you, Dream, and all other people who have made this possible.
Dream SMP will always be in my heart. Despite how toxic our fandom is, it comforted me through everything. Thank you Dream, Tommy, Wilbur, Techno, Tubbo, and everyone else in the Dream smp. Thank you Evan. And thank you guys too. You took care of me. You took care of me when my parents didn't 💀

One very smart, and slightly dyslexic, bee boy once said “All good things come to an end eventually.” And it couldn’t be more true. The ending that broke me into tears. The dsmp meant so much to me, and many, MANY others. Even if I joined halfway though, it was what I returned home to watch. Get all comfy and do homework with lore streaming in the background.. “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” o7 dsmp, you will never be forgotten.
I can't believe it's been 3 years! I spent countless hours watching nearly every stream, but the feelings at the beginning of the server just weren't there at the end. I'm happy that its over but sad that it's gone.
I wasn't a fan of DSMP until I saw these videos and realised that it truly wasn't all just hype, it was a piece of art that has a very good right to be praised. Thank you for making these and I cannot wait to watch how you grow and develop into an amazing film-maker in the future. God speed my man. Evan is the next Spielberg, let's make it happen.
I wasn't a fan either but I had friends who were when it was at it's peak. I never understood it. Maybe I was just a little too old for it. Maybe it was too complicated for me to get into. I understand what my friends back then were so invested in. I understand all of it
Evan, I just want to thank you for putting so much time, care, and precision into these incredible documentary videos. They're epic, informative, and you even managed to make them clean (which I greatly appreciate)! And thank you so much for giving me and my sister Unicadia permission to use these as research tools for our Dream SMP trilogy, Tell Me a Dream. Thanks to you, the story-building was so much easier, and you saved us from having to plow through hours of streams! I'm proud to say that books 1 and 2 of our project are complete and we are now working on the third and final book! For those who don't know, Tell Me a Dream is a canon divergence novel trilogy retelling the events of the DSMP like they've never been told before. Every character has their own backstory and motives which are explored throughout the trilogy. The story is outfitted with illustrations, maps, and original songs. A new chapter is posted every Tuesday. Thank you again, EvanMcGaming, for helping both our dreams get realized. :]
I love how they gave a good resolution to the plot of the Egg. It’s not like they just dropped it at a very exciting point in its storyline or anything
The hardest thing in life is growing up and realizing that not everything is meant to last from our childhood to series such as this and yet i know it may not be forgotten but it sure as hell will be missed for the only thing we can truly hold onto is a memory
Everything has an ending. Things you love. Things you hate. Everything eventually reaches the same fate. Perfect ending to this masterpiece of story telling.
watching this felt like i was almost there, it felt like 5 minutes not an hour... this story has such a big impact on me and so so many others i cant even describe this feeling... its a story i went through for 3 years and i dont think i will ever be able to bring my self to say goodbye to this story. this is truely so amazing and im crying my eyes out rn.. i still cant beleave its over. definitaly one of the best 3 years of my life... thank you for this evan
I finally made it live, and for the end, I am happy we all made it here!!! FOR CHAOS, FOR THE BLOOD GOD, FOR THE FALLEN!!!!!! may he rise in this final moment, and see this story through. rest in pepperonis...
I cannot explain how happy I am that a big RUclipsr who does things like this for the dsmp stayed with the fandom even after covid died instead of completely moving on to another fandom
Dude, I can’t even begin to tell you how grateful I am for your videos. I never had time to watch the streams, and listening to recaps just wasn’t that entertaining. But your videos were such an incredible and unique experience and I will forever treasure them. The dsmp would not have hit the same without you
It’s so bittersweet to see the finale of this, I remember the first time you posting the video I loved it so much my heart breaks to see it over, it’s been over for so long yet this seems like it was the last thing officially to be let go. Thank you for the wonderful and beautiful series your editing and thought and research was like no other. You really do deserve all the growth and success you for from this. A final o7 to the DSMP
Wow, it’s really ended, huh. It’s been such a long journey, from L’manberg to Manberg, from El Rapids to Las Nevadas, from the beginning to the end, and I’m so glad to have been apart of it. It’s been such a fun time, and Dream SMP has honestly change my life so much, I couldn’t forget it if I tried. Dream SMP will always hold a place in my heart, but I’m excited to see where everything goes from here. The DSMP storyline may be finished, but the DSMP fandom, mcyts, and Minecraft is far from over.
Your story telling skills are admirable but what really takes the cake is how you list out all the music you use. It is really helpful, so thank you for taking your time and your hard work!
Evan was not the person who wrote the lore, it was the players themselves who wrote the story... Although i cannot lie that evan's execution and storytelling skills are awesome
Now I may be a very emotional person, But this is the first time i've cried from pure storytelling. It feels like it was just yesterday when I watched Tommyinnit's first DreamSMP vod. But boy has this series come a long way!
As someone who found real interest in the fandom January this year, it’d hard to see people saying that the fandoms dead because I only got 10 months to enjoy it when people there in the beginning got 3-4 years. I think this fandom can be kept alive… Who’s with me 👇
Bro I kinda miss you for the way you did commentry and you went so deep into the stories and animating and recording it that I felt it in my heart. It would be nice if you would come back with another story telling, and just like you have mentioned in your pinned comment, Dream SMP isn't the only lore-based SMP, their are so many more we don't know of and I would like you to introduce them to me in your style. Hope to see you soon, thanks for the amazing time buddy
bro everytime i hear that music(the one at the end) i think of dsmp but also i think alot about techno. When techno's death happened i felt so sad and began watching your videos.i watched them even more when dsmp ended and loved every bit of it.thanks for your time and dedication put into this series it really helped me and i enjoyed it so much!
I left long before I could see the ending, and it now it feels so surreal that it had actually ended. So much has happened since the disc wars and seeing the notifications of old subscriptions makes me kinda regret I hadn't followed through to the end. Either way, this was an amazing journey that I'm just grateful to be apart of. o7

the dream amp had a huge impact on my life. helped me through some really tough times. will be forever grateful for this server and it’s members for making me laugh every day
For context, I'm a wiki editor who's written Dream and Punz's character's pages (among other pages). I know these characters very well and I've spent years analyzing them. The production value of this video series is absolutely astounding and it's clear a lot of effort went into the editing, filming, and the music. It's just surprising to me how easily the staged disc finale was brushed over, especially when it completely reframes Dream's motivations, plans, and actions. When I noticed in the Skyfall video that it wasn't shown that Punz was on Dream's side and that Dream intended to be in prison, I thought this would be covered in more detail in this very last video to make the reveal for the viewers more interesting. However, it's kind of disappointing to see how it was barely touched upon at all in the end and how one-sided the entire story is framed to almost solely show Tommy's perspective. It's sad to me that this will be how a lot of viewers will come to understand Dream's character.
@@mackrlmattie not sure if you understood my point correctly, but I was saying that this video and previous ones have made many people completely misunderstand Dream's character, because they twist and misrepresent his motivations, personality, and goals. And I'm disappointed by that.
1. Thanks for your commitment to the series and sticking by it for all this time 2. You earned a trip outside bro go touch some grass and look to the sun
Yah, I feel like Dream's original motivation (as a guy who wants unity, at any cost, and wanted to restore the server to the good old days when it was just him and his friends having fun without drama) has been lost on a lot of people who covered DSMP.
C! Dream didn't really have any character development, there's nothing to cover really. This is coming from someone who was very involved in the storyline and also helped with the wiki and write theories a lot
A very truly spectacular series it has been. 3 years of action that gave us something to watch. Once a server for fun, became a server we all know that thrives and gave us this. Thank you Evan for this series, without it the whole Dream SMP would never makes sense. All the memories rush back during the credits, and I am grateful that is all come to an end.
I just want to say thank you for making this series. I’ve been curious about the DreamSMP for a while and watching your videos was a great way to learn about the story of the server.
Thank you evan for a story that will be always remembered and shared with others it was a joy to see you creating this story for those unable to watch from start and i will say this I am glad to be part of it by watching each and every chapter you have presented weather main story or side story and i will say we will miss this smp as it has given us so much joy and bring various other emotions in us Thank you evan for presenting such a wonderful story. Love from india ❤. Signing off
I have to say. To record the ENTIRE history of the DreamSMP, as well as your storytelling abilities, you've long earned my respect, and I can't wait for what's next. If I had to make a suggestion on what's next, I'd suggest everything that started from the EVO SMP.
The entire ending was almost based from the scripts of the L'Manberg Story, seemingly its shadow . I like to believe if season 2 would've worked, its the same aftermath when L'Manberg was blown yet different scenarios 😮
Just wanted to say I love how beautiful the credits are, showing all the scenes you faithfully recreated, a still of every moment that you preserved. All strung together in a final slideshow. :')
Honestly ever since Techno died the whole server was destined to end early, if not planned. But in my opinion, the whole server just suddenly became so dark.
I started watching Tommy and Tubbo a bit before they joined the Dream SMP and have followed their story the whole way. Thank you so much for making this video, it's brought back memories of turning on their streams during quarantine and enjoying talking about it with my friends.
Words cannot not describe the perfection that was achieved by Wilbur, the DSMP members, and you, Evan. This story evolved into the greatness that it came to be purely by the sheer creativity and chaos of the characters of the story. It is a perfect end to such a journey, an end that fills you with joy, nostalgia, sadness and then joy again, as you begin to realize to full extent to how incredible this journey truly was. There is no way to describe the impact and pure perfection of this story. The impact is only meant to be felt by those who witness the story and fall in love with it. All I can simply say is one word “perfection”

Goodbye Dream SMP. The journey was true unforgettable.
Wow. I just finished, and just wow. The way you told this whole series was absolutely stunning and incredible. Insane talent in storytelling
I finally made it live, and for the end, I am happy we all made it here!!!

I cannot explain how happy I am that a big RUclipsr who does things like this for the dsmp stayed with the fandom even after covid died instead of completely moving on to another fandom
This could possibly be the best video Evan has ever put out. So exited to see what comes next!
Dude, I can’t even begin to tell you how grateful I am for your videos. I never had time to watch the streams, and listening to recaps just wasn’t that entertaining. But your videos were such an incredible and unique experience and I will forever treasure them. The dsmp would not have hit the same without you
This SMP and your videos have changed Minecraft so much. I can't thank you enough for your documentaries and work telling this crazy story.
Honestly, I hope this guy is the lead developer of the Minecraft movie.
Evan was not the person who wrote the lore, it was the players themselves who wrote the story...
Although i cannot lie that evan's execution and storytelling skills are awesome

The greatest narrator ever
Now I may be a very emotional person, But this is the first time i've cried from pure storytelling. It feels like it was just yesterday when I watched Tommyinnit's first DreamSMP vod. But boy has this series come a long way!
I’m glad you were able to finish this! I know RUclips can be hard to balance and I appreciate that you’re honest about RUclips. Keep up the good work!
As someone who found real interest in the fandom January this year, it’d hard to see people saying that the fandoms dead because I only got 10 months to enjoy it when people there in the beginning got 3-4 years. I think this fandom can be kept alive…

This was an amazing journey. Thank you to everyone.
Bro I needed these words, thanks! 🙏

What an opening for the finale! It has been a long time coming. We're proud of you, Evan.
bro everytime i hear that music(the one at the end) i think of dsmp but also i think alot about techno.
Either way, this was an amazing journey that I'm just grateful to be apart of.

bro why is a minecraft roleplay documentry got me crying you did such an amazing job cant wait to see whats next!!
Amazing job as always Evan, here's to the ending of an era and to the beginning of a new one. Glad I could help replay acting for your amazing videos! I'm looking forward to replay acting for your future projects. :)

watched and loved every episode of this series. thank you so much for all your hard work, i was always interested in the dsmp but there was way too much going on, and i couldn't follow. i was only there for the first couple of streams, and i couldn't keep up after that. but you made it possible for me to witness this fun story in your fun and unique minecraft story telling medium, thank you.
It’s been quite a journey Evan. Everything has led up to this moment, I’m so ready for the end, and for what’s coming in your future projects!🎉🎉🎉🎉
The whole finale segment (everything this video covered) waas top 3 parts of the dream smp for me. I'm so glad you did a video on this!
This was truly a masterpiece, I’ve been watching this series since the start and I had literal tears watching this
I used to eat these vids up for dinner, but I haven’t watched them in like a year. Glad to be back
dude this gives me chills.. and a huge trip back to times, where everything was easy.. everything was positive.. even with this dumb virus and lockdown stuff, DSMP is going to stay in my mind for the rest of my life.. thank you Tommy, Thank you Dream, Thank you everyone from this server and this community, and also THANK YOU Evan for documenting this whole damn movie. Nothing will ever replace this huge server across 2020-2023, nothing.
I remember the first part of this series coming out, seeing the story unfold and eventually come to a close is bittersweet. Thank you
that was honestly gut wrenching. great job as per usual evan. the ending was excellent.
"Punz and I will enjoy our grilled cheese sandwiches" 💀
I laughed so hard at this part, it's the least serious moment of the video 😂
Thank you Evan and team for this. I didn’t think I would ugly cry but here we are. Thank you DSMP for all the memories throughout these past few years.
After all this time, the DreamSMP has come to an end. Thank you Evan, it's thanks to you that these memories will NEVER be forgotten
The best server to ever exist, the lore was just perfect, movies can be written on it🔥
Good idea, good idea (I’m hoping one day it gets a movie or tv show and I can say I foreshadowed it)

1:01:26 I love how this was a callback to what you said in the first dream smp video you did. Been watching since the start! Thank you Evan for this
I'm sorry I'm late to the party but Even this is utterly FANGTASTIC! And with the DSMP being done told by you guys, "I'm not going to cry, I'm not going to cry, I'm not going to - 😭😭😭😭😭 o7 o7 o7 o7 o7"
But DUDE! I saw Grian there and I can't wait to see the EPIC stories you and your Multi-Fandom Fiends have conjured up with your amazing Story Telling and Retelling Art Styles!
Good Luck and remember, HAPPY CREATING!
Going to absolutely miss the feelings this server had brought me in the past, this video was an absolute nostalgia trip. Thank you Evan for documenting this.
no words can explain any emotion i just felt, all i have left to say is, damn
I didnt see any streams from dsmp but thanks to this documentary i feel educated
the dream amp had a huge impact on my life. helped me through some really tough times. will be forever grateful for this server and it’s members for making me laugh every day
gonna miss this. I remember this server first time. wow this really changed
It's sad to me that this will be how a lot of viewers will come to understand Dream's character.
same i've always loved both of their characters, and how lots of viewers have come to view dreams character
@@mackrlmattie not sure if you understood my point correctly, but I was saying that this video and previous ones have made many people completely misunderstand Dream's character, because they twist and misrepresent his motivations, personality, and goals. And I'm disappointed by that.
1. Thanks for your commitment to the series and sticking by it for all this time
“Don’t be sad because it’s over, be glad because it happened.”
Thank you evan for a story that will be always remembered and shared with others it was a joy to see you creating this story for those unable to watch from start and i will say this I am glad to be part of it by watching each and every chapter you have presented weather main story or side story and i will say we will miss this smp as it has given us so much joy and bring various other emotions in us
Thank you evan for presenting such a wonderful story.
Love from india ❤.
Signing off
Thx for this epic series evan. It was insane and I‘m sure I will be rewatching it every so often
I have to say. To record the ENTIRE history of the DreamSMP, as well as your storytelling abilities, you've long earned my respect, and I can't wait for what's next.
If I had to make a suggestion on what's next, I'd suggest everything that started from the EVO SMP.
The last part came out ? Now I have something to binge watch , thank you Evan . Brb guys when I finish this series
I was kinda expecting a bit more, but it's really good.
I don't wanna be that guy, Evan's channel is probably going die after video
I loved them all so much you are so talented! My sister watched this and cried many times you made the best Minecraft story ever!❤🙂👍
Dream just wanted friends?
Wait.
Did all all of this happen because George was not found?
Honestly ever since Techno died the whole server was destined to end early, if not planned. But in my opinion, the whole server just suddenly became so dark.
The DSMP truly has changed Minecraft forever
LONG LIVE THE DSMP
I started watching Tommy and Tubbo a bit before they joined the Dream SMP and have followed their story the whole way. Thank you so much for making this video, it's brought back memories of turning on their streams during quarantine and enjoying talking about it with my friends.
This SMP had a lot of lore and a very good story line to it too. Thanks for making the lore and the story more unique but related to the DSMP.❤🔥
Such a journey been here from the start fantastic vid man keep it up
Words cannot not describe the perfection that was achieved by Wilbur, the DSMP members, and you, Evan.
This is an amazing series! One of my favorite actually. I couldn't catch up on the lore but by watching this series I finally understood it. By far you are one of my favorite youtubers!
I’m going to miss this show and EvanMCGamings, It has the greatest atmosphere,Music, cinematography, plot twists and characters.

You have my infinite respect 🫡
I remember it was 2020-2021 distance learning school year. I was in class while watching the first l'manburg war and many more live streams during class. Thank you Dream SMP for the memories
