I had cardioversion yesterday the only thing I hated was the ketamine they used to sedate you. In my opinion it is the worst feeling ever because of it being a hallucinagine,it puts you in a ( how I would describe it) an outer body experience which to me was frightening to say the least.A distorted state and it was something I never want to experience again.I don't know why they used ketamine instead of propafole but it was very unpleasant.Other than that,I felt no pain.
What should I do after my Cardioversion? Is there a way to help you stay in rythem? A diet or high cardio? I'm dreading and want it over...I want to stay healthy after although it'll take a while with good dietary exercise butIjust wondered if there was a food or cutting meat out maybe? I can't find anything. Thanks in advance if you get to reply.

@NewArk Studios Yeah..I take magnesium taurate now. The cardioversion didnt last...ablation next or maybe Pulsed Field Ablation if I can get it. Its very new.
I had cardio version lasted 3 months. First time lasted 2 months. The difference I tried a probiotic drink Kefir. There is B12 and magnesium in the drink. I think it helped keeping me out of AFib longer
