My dutch buddy has tabbed both solos years before and comparing yours with his, it is your improvisation not the accurate version! Your cover is still good!
I agree, especially during the arpeggio-kind-of "bridge part" I "improvised" (i.e. didn't listen accurately enough how it goes down) before the 2nd solo, there are major differences, some of which to me in retrospect is not good improvisation at all :D (and vis-à-vis the original part being so much better and ominous) ...however I like what I did with the very end of this "bridge" right before the 2nd solo (unprepared stuff just appeared in my head on-the-go which came out pretty cool). But yeah, to me the weaker part of this cover is the "bridge" due to lack of concentration in figuring out the original. Thank You for the comment!
Hey there! Thanks :) Yes I'd love to share the tabs. The 1st solo is sadly not in there so I just improvised it by finding the right key and scale by ear. It's really just sweeps up and down hehe! The tab is here --> tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/d/dimmu_borgir/grotesquery_conceiled_tab.htm for the core and tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/d/dimmu_borgir/grotesquery_conceiled_solo_tab.htm for the 2nd solo.
Hey! I used these tabs: tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/dimmu-borgir/grotesquery-conceiled-tabs-170262 and these tabs: tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/dimmu-borgir/grotesquery-conceiled-tabs-845716 tabs. And improvised a lot.
Reminds me of the golden setup of Dimmu in 1999. Astennu was the only one capable of playing the solos as they should be played. Great cover!
I do not know who you are but I love you. You said it all.
geniooooo el unico cover que hay, muy dificil de sacar! uno de los mejores temas del genero sin dudas.
amazing cover dude solos were perfect
