Happy to say after seeing this video two weeks after it was posted that not only did they come back to Chula Vista but they sounded great and crushed it. M also mentions on his Twitter that in order to make up the date they had to rent the venue again, pay the crew again , and have all their stage production and gear hauled around the country an extra week. These guys really went the extra mile to make it up when they didn’t have to and I will be forever grateful for that. They are an awesome group of people.
Went to go see them in Chula Vista... Was super bummed when they made the announcement... It had been 14 years since I saw them last I think. Hope they come back to give us a show... :(
The considerate part was that they could have informed us that the show was cancelled prior to driving out to San Diego. Yes people were disappointed, myself included. But am I personally mad at the band, of course not. Shit happens. It completely makes sense to cancel one show and get better than to risk further vocal injury and have to cancel more shows later. We drove over 10 hours from Reno, NV to see them play and I’m not holding my breath that I’ll be able to go back for the rescheduled show. We were hoping to see them because my bf is battling health issues and it was a major struggle just to get to the venue and into the accessible area. If all goes well we will try to see them during their next tour.
He goes into more detail in the video, but basically Shadows is sick and it was affecting his throat so much that he couldn't talk and had to cancel the A7X set in Chula Vista 40 minutes before they were scheduled to take stage. His issue is that everyone complained that he didn't try hard enough or just wanted to take the night off.
Actually they canceled at 9:30 when they are supposed to take the stage at 9:10 i think that was the main reason why they boo , but thanks god was only a virus and not a problem with vocal chords, so lets enojoy the rescheduled concert !
@@Kbax3614Most fans do like it. It's called a vocal minority. People who don't like it wanted another CoE, another Self-Titled. But A7X isn't about that shit. They keep it new and fresh each album
@@Kbax3614 well you got to except what you get from a7x they try something different each album instead of staying with the same stuff who knows they might bring a banger of a album out in the future

I would be too. I was concerned when I heard about the Chula Vista show and was hoping he would be alright for the show the next night in Phoenix.
They will reschedule it soon
@@insanicz303 I needed a few more months other than these past 14 years 😪
Thank you for sharing this! I was in San diego and it was heart breaking for them to cancel. This really helps! I love these guys all the more!🙏

They were waiting till the very last moment in case something changed like him being able to sing
@@JakeRoss827yeah, it was a total bummer but I’m glad he’s much better now. At least other shows weren’t cancelled.

@@ch24c00 thank you very much
Did they put out an album so bad even the fans hated it?
Real fans like it! Other people are not real fans they just troll others for fun and pretend they are fans
That's always been the case with A7X tbh. Just toxic people.
@@LovetheRAFno real fan would like that mate. New doesn’t always mean cool
