I agree. It shows he's not feeding off of his child to get views and likes. It's a monetized video after all. Also there are tons of sick people on the internet that would love to have 4K footage of a child.
I admire how you keep your family out of the spotlight, but this is a very beautiful video about your love for your daughter and that as a father is a big deal. the stereotype of dad used to be very cold and not reveal their love to their kids, whereas now we are embracing that and able to allow fathers to show their love. Great video @peterMcKinnon I hope you will forever keep your communication with your kids open so that they know they can always come to you for a chat about something or call you to get your opinion. I know that you are a busy man but time with family and your loved ones is one very important factor and should never be pushed aside for anyone or anything, for you can never get those important times back.

Not everyone likes kids. And obviously some people don't come here for that. They come here for tutorials and shit.
But I think it's awesome!
Some people actually sit in front of their computer and hit auto play and let YT show them videos at random. They do this until they find a video they don't like for whatever reason, and they hit thumbs down instead of just moving on. Now when you find a crappy video, and we all know YT has plenty, then by all means, thumbs down, but if it was a nice video, like this one with beautiful choreography/music/etc......idk, maybe some people are just ......hell idk.

I watched this, then showed it to our 5 year old daughter... She crawled up into my lap and wouldn't let go. Good stuff, Peter. We recently left the rat race, sold everything, and hit the road full time to pursue OUR DREAM. It's been a tough transition as a family but we are more connected now and less distracted with the static. Thank you for the inspiration!

to all the people who disliked this video. Have you come to a point where you need to hate on someone else's life because you have no love and joy for a beautiful family and great art? Sorry for the rant but that kinda thing just pisses me off. GREAT VIDEO PETER!
I can't even grasp why someone dislikes a piece of beautiful music, or a video about art or something like that, but to dislike a video about something so common to all of us, about that visceral feeling of love and joy is just.....I'm just sad that such people exist....
Emotions are a great way to receive art, but in reality it is not the only way. Peter opted to conceal her identity (understandable but also something class A celebs don't even bother doing) and in doing so an organic and natural feel was absent from the video. Many "below the neckline" and "back of the head" clips of the girl made the intention to conceal very apparent and a tad distracting. Perhaps if we even got to see the profile of the girl, the illusion of an organic experience would have worked abit better.
Compared to an empty space, good content is good way to fill that space but it doesn't mean it can't be reviewed and given feedback. Personally speaking, I was drawn out of the immersion due to his choice to conceal the identity of the girl. Sorry for the rant but you seem abit ignorant.
I liked the video. Excellent editing and skills. Just pointing out an observation.
I have a found that almost all videos have about 2% dislikes. Really go vids have about 1%. This one sits currently at 0.04%. Tells a lot.

This is something we have wrestled with over and over again. It is definitely something that is unique to parents of this generation and for the ones to come. We choose to share our children and try to keep certain boundaries on that, but are constantly re-evaluating as they enter new stages or fight new battles. Some of their stories just aren't ours to tell.
By far, my favorite video that you have done and quite possibly the best one you have ever made. The love between you and your daughter is obvious here.
As a man who wants to be a dad in the near future this was beautiful to watch. Seeing a Dad’s relationship with his daughter makes you feel good with so much bad in the world.
