- I heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from another that you could do some pretty nutty camp tricks with this special special thrasher egg from the season 19 season pass scoreboard thing. I don't build. I appreciate and envy the creativity that goes into these things. But I'm old. I manage a restaurant and by the time I sit down to play, I already have a negative amount of patience. So I build stuff vicariously through this page. And I'm pretty good at it. Like I'm the best at watching these things. If I wasn't also poor, I'd become a patron. Until my financial miracle arrives, and it's coming soon or else, I'll drop likes. Thanks for the laughs.

bad notions' ability to create vehicles in this game blows me away to this day, i was fortunate enough to add them as a friend about a year ago and sometimes i will just pop in to see what they're cooking. a truly incredible builder with much more patience than i have.
yeah, his builds are mindblowing, his therapy bill extensive, his contributions to humanity uncountable
this method really is the next level kind of building, isn't it. kinda intimidating lol

I just hit 100 & was relooking through the past pages to spend tix. Seen the eggs (among other things) & thought "such a stupid item". And of course didn't get it.
Will now think about it.
Not worried about hitting 150, just wanted to get to 100.
God, I love that outfit and wanted the glowing robot mask so bad. Making do with a glowing pig mask and Blue Ridge Caravan outfit (occasionally swapping in the regular turkey mask).
It was the only one I wanted from this year, and I knew I'd wear it with this coat bc of the matching gold trim xD this was actually gifted to me by someone in my discord server bc the only ones I got to drop were alien and pig 🥹

At 11am, I rolled a daily and got “build 10 floor or wall decor in your shelter.” I decided to build 10 thrasher eggs and then put them on shelves in my shelter and use them for target practice. Discovered that you can float those eggs anywhere. Midair, to the ceiling or to a wall, they just stick like Velcro. I didn’t know about that new trick Mister Church posted about. Can’t wait to try it tomorrow.

Yay!I just got this. I thought is was just decoration. Placed a few around my camp. I wonder how many people thought it was a trap camp.lol
I got up to Rank 32, bought the rowboat and decided to take the rest of the season off since I was getting a bit burnt out and didnt see anything else that looked interesting. Now I have to start ranking again or Ill never forgive myself lol.

You could have several eggs and have each egg be a different camper for the truck with different items for crafting. You would just have the one your using repaired and all the others destroyed then when you want to switch you destroy that egg and repair the egg that you want to use.
It'll go great with the golf ball, tin can, whiskey jug with thrasher egg. Its my sunday morning fun kit for getting drunk and shooting indiscrimiately while enjoying an omellette

I emptied my company tea and Slocum's Joe Coffee machine, placed the coffee machine on the disappearing rug and the tea machine next to it but not in the rug.
Broke the egg and waited about thirty minutes.
The coffee machine should produce 1 every 7~8 minutes whereas the tea machine is ~10 minutes

I'd have to test with other resource generators to be sure but it's looking like thats a negative
thanks for checking that out, mothman, I never actually thought to try that, as I very rarely use collectors for anything real serious. for my disappearing camp, I pretty much leave it active unless there's a queen fight, which was kind of the designed purpose of it :)

So with this tip I was finally able to make a camper with workbench merged in, but blueprinting it does not allow it to be placed down :( Still trying to make a blue print that allows placement.
Yesterday i encountered an underground camp for the first time, the player used the symptomatic almost like an elevator. Blew me away
I haven't seen anything like that, so I just ask: Is there a way to merge or place foundations or floors inside prefabs? Maybe with the egg? I would like to have Farmable dirt tiles inside the Wild Mountain Rifle Range for an indoor garden and don't know how to do it or if it's even possible. If this is not possible can I somehow sink down the prefab deep enough into the ground so that the ground pops up inside to be used for plants?
idk about the first part, but I would try what I do in this video to lower the prefab down some: ruclips.net/video/uv5x66a8LD0/видео.htmlsi=aCMKCPATrcNn8hEY no clue if it'll work or not since each prefab acts a little differently but it will allow you to get the ground to be inside the prefab if it works
Im a lil bumbed it wouldnt let me craft one at the tinkers work bench like the other eggs so that i could put it in the nest display.
Im bummed the nest display puts the eggs balanced on the edge of the nest

Not related to this video, but did they "fix" the ability to double up walls with the abandoned mine wall?! I just got the bundle today specifically to do so and either I'm missing something, or it doesn't work anymore!

Would you put the egg under the map so that noone could brake your camp? Like hiding it under the map?
yeah definitely recommend that, or if you don't want the eggs to be seen. You could even put the way down below the map on an egg and break that so no one can go down there but you (and hit repair all to get in)

Dear Mr Church, for the past week or two I’ve been trying to merge a tinkerers bench into the light blue camper van from the season in a similar way that Bethesda have done it for the new survival tent, this could work.. but if not.. could you figure it out and make a video for me? Just for me, nobody else needs to know 😂

So if I'm getting this correct with the egg i wont need the flamethrower trap?? I messed up and got rid of the flamethrower trap instead of learning it when i first started and now i know i needed it for alot of merging and now have no idea how to get the plan again.
oh no! I bet if you have an extra character and do the quests to get it, you could then have someone help you transfer it over to the character you need it on! but yes, the egg can be used in place of it

yeah, def try seeing if you can get it the way vapidvalentine says, unfortunately the flamer trap can only be acquired from doing that specific quest, the workshop plans are separate items.
as to your first question, there will be some items youll want the flamer trap for, like merging walls, breaking walls, breaking roofs, etc. But yes, you can do a lot of really great merging without the flamer by using the egg :)

Im having a heck of a time lining up the outlook prefab with floors and the rest of what I want to be my camp maybe this trick could help. Have you built onto the tree house prefab? Any tips?
I haven't built there yet, but from the sounds of it, I would try blueprinting the individual items you are wanting to place down and see if that helps any

yeah, deleting it will store all the items stacked on it, def recommend going under the map with them to avoid that if you dont want eggs everywhere
