I don’t care if the show is bad or horrible. The fact that plasma burns though people’s limbs is horrifyingly real, gritty and brutal
That was never a problem with the show. I never saw anyone complain about that. It's just...everything else.

I like how the plasma rifles go from evaporating kids, to just causing star wars looking puffs of smoke, to literally destroying structures depending on how scary the director wants the covenant to look in the current scene
I believe lorewise the plasma rifle can be reconfigured to do as much damage as the user wants

The power of the shot could be changing due to range, or if the weapon is overheating, or needs a recharge, or a certain power mode

I love how the show isn’t afraid of blood and gore makes the covenant even more terrifying. I can’t imagine what the needler will be like

Nobody actually realizes this is what they're actually like in lore. Killing machines that can easily wipe out entire outposts and can't be killed by a kid with a magnum or any Spartan. Elites are badass and I'm happy they're finally getting good representation
Still move like lumbering Brutes though. They don't quite have that 'Panther' like feel that they're supposed to have.

I like how the Plasma rifle just deletes bodyparts. Lore accurate since plasma is several thousand degrees.

I know that the halo lore says that the convenant is the most badass enemies ever but what would happen if an inexperienced spartan with damaged armor fought a convenant who is the same like him , who would win
What like a fist fight? 😂 The elite could win, but I wouldn’t underestimate a spartan who has their back to the corner, even if they are inexperienced. They are trained to be the best of the best and are prepared to handle any situation they come across. If a spartan is going to go down, they will take their enemy down with them.

That’s a really weird question that doesn’t really make much sense cuz a “inexperienced Spartan” would have to be a 14 years or younger lol that’s when chief and the other Spartan IIs got their augmentations and armor. The reason I say it’s a weird question is because even tho they just got the augmentations/armor they technically aren’t “inexperienced” cuz they’ve been through extreme training since they were 7. At that same age of 14 chief killed four ODST (one or two of them may have survived) in a gym with his bare hands without breaking a sweat. ODST are like navy seals but crazier, they drop from orbit in drop pods and only get deployed on what most other soldiers in the UNSC would consider to be suicide missions. Chief first fought covenant at 15 years old too and he did really well but that’s chief we’re talking about. For other Spartans at the fresh age of 14 or 15 it could go both ways to be honest cuz like I said even tho they are freshly new Spartans they still technically aren’t “inexperienced”

Shit... Ok, I've never played much of the Halo saga, I've only played Combat Evolved and Halo 3, and the latter I couldn't understand at all, mainly because at that time I was very young and I had to play it in English (and my native language is Spanish, so I didn't understand anything 😅), but...
God... I didn't remember games being so bloody 😳 I mean, I played them MANY years ago, I don't know how much the saga has changed since then but... Wow... That was violent...
It's not a complaint, just an observation 😬 I've rarely seen children die so violently on TV or in movies lately, of course, other than horror.

@@parthlad8263 Well I’m assuming this season might end at the beginning of the fall of reach, so maybe the next season will be the fall of reach or take place at a similar time as halo 1

The sheer terror caused by the Covenant invasion in that first episode should've been the focus of the show. None of this Innie/Chief being a rebel/boning down with a Forerunner/Covenant thing. Just focus on the sheer, overwhelming might of the Covenant Empire, how helpless humanity is against it, and focus on the Spartans fighting them and giving the Covvies the odd black eye. That is how Halo should've been written.

This is a little.... Severe. Even when compared to the games that were made to appeal to people between the ages of 15 and up. Full on gore was never a thing in the Halo series, but apparently kill bill was an inspiration here? lol

@@derekmorris89 Thats not really what i'm talking about lol. Star wars, and the Halo games have lasers and plasma etc but the weapons were not an excuse to create fountains of blood and viscera for shock value purposes like we see here... The actual mechanics of how someone would die to a space gun is not what concerns me, its the portrayal of violence and its place in a story.

This isn’t even that much gore, most if it is people getting disintegrated by plasma weaponry and exploding body parts with no organs flying around. You guys are hard to please
