A state law passed over 100 years ago is set to force the excavation into the site of the future Eleven Park stadium due to the potential of nearly 15 hundred people.
if the law was on the books to begin with, who let the cemetery get paved over with concrete in the first place? it's always a shame they replace historic stadiums and just let them rot away next to the new one for decades. not sure what this 'Eleven stadium' is supposed to be for, aside from being new and shiny
Affordable housing for that matter. all of the corporations building residential always do the opposite to get more money from buyers. Meanwhile china is disappearing board members that push corporations to do this. And now they are building affordable houses in greater proportions. This is revitalizing every single city and region and growing their economy, while west's unsustainable economy is shinking.
@@alexlifeson8946 to add "tax exempt" would not change anything, taxes are not used to build affordable housing, just given to a few landlords to "promise to make the rent lower" that doesnt happen lol
If anyone truly cares, ' they' would have done something decades ago. This is just another example of the ' community ' seeking to extort the city.

ANOTHER stadium downtown? How many does this make now 3, 4, 5 ????
Nevermind affordable housing. Nope. We need another tax-exempt stadium.

@@Cd5ssmffan I'm saying, pro sports pay zero tax. They're subsidized, because they bring in city revenue. In other words, the community loses TWICE
