The NASB Open Bible used to be my favorite daily reader until mine started falling apart. Thank you for this review. I may try to find one just like it.

The pouch that it came in would be useful for traveling. I traveled for decades and always wrapped my bible in a T shirt to prevent any damage. I very much appreciate all your reviews.

How does the Foundation Publication LPUT compare with the Allan with 36 gsm paper?? Specifically does the Foundation Publication have more bold print??

I have a 2018 printing in genuine leather, would you know if it has the same paper as that 2017 printing?

Is there any way to buy a pouch like that? That would be awesome to take a bible to church.

Love your videos....I’ve looked for hours upon hours looking for a premium NASB with 10 font, on bible paper, wide margin...I looked at Cambridge, love the amount of space to write in scripture area and lined paper in back....but font is so small...very frustrated...I was wondering what you would you recommend? Thank you very much...Adam

I just received this today. Do you know if the inner liner is leather or synthetic?

Question: how can you make sure you are getting the 2017 (or later) printing when ordering from Amazon?

I don't think you can when ordering from Amazon... I would recommend always for people to purchase from the publisher or who they recommend so that they can check and ensure you are getting the printing you prefer.

Does anyone know if the 2017 printing of the NASB95 LPUT is what is still available in 2020?

I think you should make a point that this is printed in China, one of many countries that persecute Christians. People need a reminder of who they are supporting by their purchase. I wish I had known before I bought mine.

Outsourcing the production of the product and the company actually being Chinese are two separate things.

Beau, you mentioned this was a new printing; you mentioned the smaller size and the better printing (printed 2017), which somehow, oddly, has a thinner but a denser paper. Question: Did they also do a new printing of the *regular* NASB ultrathin reference bible (NOT the large print)? I love that Bible and am very interested to know if they have reprinted it (with better ink or on better paper). Also, where do you get all your info and stay up to date on Foundation's new printings? I would like to keep up with what they're doing as well. Thanks so much, JB

I think only the SCR and LPUT got new printings. I have a few very reliable contacts at Foundation and they supplied all of the information regarding the new paper and printing. I recommend going to their website and go to the "contact us" section then email them any questions you might have.

Beau, I emailed them like you suggested, and it turns out all the editions printed in China are now being printed on the new paper, fyi.

The newer editions I reviewed last year esp the SCR is so blue that it could almost give a blue artgild shade on the edges😂
Its a crisper print but the ghosting is pretty bad on the scr , the lput wasn't bad which is this same book block I think just budget covers.
