My wife rally wants me to stop watching because I keep buying Bibles 😂 now I want this one lol
😉
Hahahahaha
These look great. I do hope they'll make an NASB 2020 in this format.
Lovely bibles and I love the NASB1995!
I got the blue calfskin one a few weeks ago from CBD. Beautiful Bible! For those who liked or wanted the Intouch Notetakers Bible (the Bible Charles Stanley used and designed and is out of print) this Bible is a almost perfect replica but this one is red letter which I prefer. This is a great Bible illustration because using!
I bought my first Zondervan last week, the NASB 1995 Single Column Reference in black Goatskin. For $100 it punches waaaaaaaay above it's weight class. The goatskin is extremely nice, feels excellent to the touch and has the perfect "flop". Good quality paper (probably the same 36 GSM as this one if I had to guess), pleasing layout and colorway. Very Happy with that one.
Awesome bro, maybe try one of the buffalo skin NASB 1995 thin line bibles they are awesome
@@chillvibez4698 I have a Buffalo ESV. I’m not a fan of thin bibles however. I like some heft.
NASB has at least 16 omitted/edited verses. I dont trust this translation.
@@user-ye8oe8rt7r as compared to?
@@user-ye8oe8rt7rwhich ones? please elaborate why you don’t trust it i’m curious
That paper is nice and print is very clear !
This Bible would be a good devotional Bible for me as I like to write how God is speaking to me in the margins
Thank you, Brother Tim 🌹⭐🌹
Thank you for reviewing these. Zondervan / Thomas Nelson continue to be my "go to" publisher because you receive so much bang for the $$ buck $, primarily with their choice of paper selection and line match. I have never been disappointed with their Bibles.
Looking forward to this! Been wanting a wide margin nasb, but I'm a little concerned it'll be too heavy/large to carry around... Can't wait to watch your review to help decide!
Thank you Tim😍😍😍😍😍
Great point about the paste down being sturdier. Never knew that.
I love the NASB 95...may have to order the blue calf skin. Thanks for the video.
Good for note taking the wide margins.
This is really nice. Thanks!
Great video once again Tim!
Two thoughts came to my mind:
1. This is like having a very updated In-Touch NASB; which is a dream!
2. It’s like they took their Thompson and removed all of the margin data.
Really excited about this one!
Very nice Bible. Well done.🎉
This one like the similar NIV look like the TCR without the notes and references
Currently using the NIV version the paper is great . The NASB may be in my future, 😊
I love the NASB! I've been impressed with the Korean printings. I only wish there were more paragraph formats.
1995 and wide margin. I’m in
I wish I could find a wide margin just like this in a NKJV
The NKJV sovereign collection by Nelson has a nice wide margin
I wish this had been released before I bought a NASB95 Wide Margin Quentel and filled it with notes for over a year. 😅
Good morning! Joined late....
Hope you can do a review of Holman’s NASB Single Column ps bible in tan leather soon! I pre-ordered it but the release is in Aug. 😢
beautiful bibles
Love the blue calf, great margins.
"Genuine leather" used to mean pigskin. To paraphrase Bones McCoy from Star Trek, "Darn it, Jim, it's a Bible, not a football!" Maybe suggest they clarify that in their stamping, Tim; if I didn't know better, I would ass-u-me it's pig and give it a pass, football pun intended.
Anyway, glad to see it's a pastedown; that binding style is perfect for wide margin editions that should be open flat on a desk or table for neat note-taking; pastedown facilitates that. Also like that the paper is 36 gsm, which is the minimum any Bible designed for note-taking should be, also imo. Anything less, use a Micron 005. Use a Micron 005 anyway; you'll thank me later.
Anyway, the only thing I would change is matte finish on the maps; more durable, no glare.
My wonky eyeballs can't read red letter except in very bright light, but I'd only purchace an NASB as a gift and my current nasby buddies all prefer red letter. I know one of them is on WideMarginQuest 2024 and I will let him know this is a great choice. Thanks for another great review, Sir.
Great Video, Tim! 1995 Zondervan NASB Wide Margin Bibles. 🦬 🌲🌲🌲
theyre gorgeous!! thank you so much for this review!! But I was confused by your comment that this was calfskin but has genuine leather on the back. Is calfskin imitation leather? I am clearly very new to premium Bibles - but I guess this is not considered one? I was considering the calfskin because all my previous imitation leather Bibles eventually start to flake and degrade. I wanted to buy a Bible that would last for a long long time - but is the quality btwn the 2 types not worth the price difference?
It's calfskin... which is genuine leather.
La più resistente è😁😁😁 pelle🐂 di bufalo!!😁😁😁@@timwildsmith
Paper lined in the synthetic ?
Where is this layout for NKJV or kjv?
Would it be about the same size as the Zond NASB SCR bible but thinner?
That's right.
So they now have a WM in this layout in ESV, NIV and now NASB95, when in the world are we gonna get a NKJV with this same layout?
Nelson sovereign collection has a nice wide margin nkjv.
But the quality is trash and the paper isn't the same as this...@@jc_rogers
36 GSM paper: win. Full concordance and maps: win. Non reference= epic fail. Still waiting for a NASB 95 full reference Bible with all the features above. I have one each NASB 95 and ESV with large print, “decent” paper, no references for “readers,” but it’s extremely rare when I have a Bible in my hands that I don’t look up a reference or wish IT HAD THEM!!! Trying to be patient and wait for the genuine classic reference Bible to return and find favor again😞
Typically, I just use my premium MacArthur Study Bible but there are times I want all the full features of a reference Bible but without the notes.
Pretty much not bad on ghosting?
Looks good to me!
How thick is the measurement on this bible?
1.5"
Thank you
The NASB has at least 16 verses omitted & edited compared to the KJV. Ill stick with the KJV.
Not omitted… the translation is based on a different Greek text. You could just as easily argue that the KJV has extra verses that aren’t original to the Bible.
🤣🤣🤣
