Kyoto is like another world. Every single frame of this video is like a postcard. How would you ever travel anywhere else if you lived in such a beautiful place? No fences or idiot proof barriers to block the beautiful view of the small streams/canals in the residential areas either. Looks like they've been there centuries, mixed with buildings from all through history. I can't wait to go here one day.
After all these years I'm still amazed by your work. While other RUclipsrs use lightweight video cameras like the DJI OSMO Pocket it's Not as sharp and detailed as yours. You rather carry big heavy gears to give us the best quality in video and audio. Thanks man! keep up the good work.
I received my results today I got 97% and it's not enough. I needed something to relax me and get me out of my place but since I can't go outside I could only think of your videos as a replacement. After roaming around your channel, here I am less stressed and more calm toward myself.
So excited to watch this tonight. It’s been my dream to visit Kyoto ever since I read Yukio Mishima’s Temple of the Golden Pavilion. Looks absolutely gorgeous!
Ah! Very nice!! how many walks have you posted between yesterday and today. (I'll try to watch the other two recent videos, tomorrow) :-) Beautiful as always your walks along the trails of beautiful Japan, this emblematic, beautiful and historical Kyoto city, you bring us closer today from streets and places that only you can make us know, as those transporter railway rails sure of things of or for the activities with the river, a long walk that you cover from start to finish with your beautiful Lumix GH5, both are our eyes on these beautiful walks! and also, cherry blossoms, the undisputed stamp of beauty of all Japan!! Thank you very much dear Rambalac for another wonderful moment and for many, many more !! Very cordial greetings and blessings from Argentina :-)
my god, this video made me realise that now is the time to visit japan. when I was in kyoto, it was crowded beyond belief with tourists. these empty streets look like a paradise.
I was there last year during sakura season so watching it now just brings back all the memories. Thank you for this! Edit: It's funny how Keage Incline is empty. Peak sakura season last year and it was packed full of people. I was alone and I got so many requests from random young couples to take a photo of them lmao
Apparantly, there are many water streams in Kyoto. Nice! I like the murmur of water. Lovely blossoming trees, such a feast for your eyes. Thank you for posting this.
For a few videos now I’ve been wondering how you film and now I see your shadow holding a pole with a camera attached! So nice of you to film these videos and share with us all 🙂 Thank you so much!
Finally a new Kyoto video! I love this city so much!!! When i visited it i felt so comfortable there. If and when it's possible please more, More, MORE from Kyoto! Thank you Rambalac, i wish you the very best! Many greetings
So happy you're back! Cant wait to see what you have in store for us next! Thank you for providing a little in these turbulent waves!!! Walk safely, my friend!
Holy shiet I love you for doing this. I know im repeating myself on your videos but I cant stress this enough. You are doing "god's" work here mate! I decided to become a MASTER-member to show my support for your awesome work! Thanks for everything mate!
If you had only walked like fifty more feet from the zoo I could’ve seen the place where I took classes when I studied abroad. But this was crazy you took almost my exact commute to school for most of this video, it was wild. Nice video man
I used to live near the Keage incline, and you basically filmed half my route from home to my university, so this was very nostalgic. Thank you so much!
Beautiful! Lowered my stress level. Many Thanks! P.S. My fellow Americans, do you see how clean these streets are? This is what self respect looks like!
It's so rare to see few people on the streets in Kyoto. Hope Japan is getting better and energetic very soon. I am looking forward to visiting Kyoto within a few weeks, and of course also looking forward to your videos!
15:36 man that clean river just remind me of my childhood ,just chilling and hanging out on the river side. 20 Years later, that river is still exist though, it's just well no more clear water flowing on it now. . . .
5:39 one of my favourite things to do in the evening in Kyoto, particularly during Gion Matsuri, stand just off to the side and watch the night crowds come through this lantern lit path. don't know why it's just very relaxing and even mesmerising
only thing that i always keep thinking when i see these kinda videos and mostly from like towns or smaller areas (Japan is so beautiful, architexture is beautiful, culture is beautiful, people are very respectfull, nature is beautiful. I really hope that one day im able to go there on vacation for sure)
Wonderful videos-thank you for making them! As a suggestion, it would be amazing if you could provide maps that highlight the paths you take. I would love to follow some of them one day.
I love that tracks that begin at a small stream and go where for what and it's small gauge rails, how awesome and there is a stone step path, what a surprise! What a boat on a train cart, lol.oh, no way it's boats on tracks, real wide, to go from water to water, that is amazing, totally cool !
Am I the only one the naturally gets happy when there's little to no people around? I live in NYC and I noticed that so much disruption, disharmony, chaos, and unhappiness is generally seen in groups of dense areas. Everyone is defensive and either scared, annoyed or offended by someone. Yet when there's a few people in a big area communication happens naturally and you want to get along. I feel like cities exist to divide society into submission. Even from space major cities look like cancer spots.
I kind of wish the camera had shown us the foreigner and the woman. XD From what I heard, he said he was American, and she asked him why he was doing something? Maybe why he came to Japan.
@@riaalto9488 I just like that the microsecond he says he's russian she goes ahh nihongoojouzudesune? it's so quick you never expect it. I once got nihongo ojouzu'd by a drunk man. mid-conversation. the conversation was entirely in english.
@@HyTricksyy ... Ah. I just rewatched it and noticed he did indeed say he was Russian (and not American)! I'm sorry. XD I'm in a quieter place now, so that might be it, but I do wonder how I heard that. Do you know what they were talking about when they mentioned France and Germany?
@@riaalto9488 To me it sounds like she was asking where he was from, to which he replied Chiba prefecture, but the lady thought he meant he was just staying in Chiba prefecture, so she kept asking by saying country names. @@riaalto9488 she identified the gaijin, readying the nihongo ojouzu. Talks a bit, then asks America, France, Germany? He replies Russia. She deploys the ojouzu. (by the way this isn't a bad thing, I just love that it always happens, without fail.)
Thanks for this video, I was searching for more videos about Kyoto. May I suggest Nara also? Love the videos, you should consider creating a Patreon if that helps you make more of these videos in the long term.
Everyone should watch the Narai Juku walk that Ram has done a few months back. It really takes you to another realm and it is by far my favorite video of his.
Wonderful to see these parts of Kyoto I missed, and the blossoming trees are incredible. Can I ask where you were at 43:50 when you passed that boat along the path with a narrow gauge rail line, was it the Keage incline? I’d love to see and visit that next time I’m there? Thank you 🙏
Always nice to see places I've visited too, like the Yasaka jinja at the beginning. If I'd live in Japan, I'd probably choose Kyouto over Toukyou. Kyouto has the perfect mix of old and new. I don't like concrete-jungles.

You'll see more of that balance in Kyoto and Kanazawa. Downtown Tokyo has less of it but there will be bits of it in the outer areas
You left out rules, shame & "amae"
These videos feel like a small vacation in these dire times. Thank you very much good sir!

Watching this while listening to "Alone in Kyoto" by Air and other songs of theirs. Perfect. Thank you for existing, Rambalac.
I lived in Kyoto for 1 year, this brought back so many memories. Thank you! I've saved it to watch whenever I want.
The beauty of Kyoto is always so alluring

My favourite ancient route of Japan,Kyoto, with traditions very much alive.A blooming walk of perfection with ambience of tranquility. 🥰🌸🌸🌸🍃🍃
Jesus christ. Its breathtaking how modernity and nature still fits together in Japan. The scenes are absolutely gorgeous!

I know I've already commented, but I just HAD to add that last area was absolutely stunning (and the disused railway). I felt so relaxed watching it.
