They want it to be hype and that kind of “never give up”, “We got this”, “we’re gonna win” type beat and song so that people think that’s what is going to happen, that they are going to win immediately without any horrible situations occurring. But I won’t say any more for the anime watchers.... maybe I will bc I forgot to say that the next op, 14, is going to be MUCH more depressing, dark, and sad. Not just the visuals, the song too. Because as we get further into this dark arc, eventually, everything around it will start to change aswell. So it only makes sense for them to give most of us false hope, then everything goes downhill.

Black clover is like a shonen protagonist itself everyone hated it at the start now people who hated it and gave it a second chance like it now
I dropped after episode 20 then started back up and was about to drop again when they were fighting the gel lady in the cave. Then yami showed up and we had a light vs dark magic battle. Black clover dun got me there.
Is picks up right after the ocean temple arc thingy
@@pi3man252 Ya for me and my friend it was when what seemed like a filler episode (the triple date, actually a pretty funny episode IMO) wound up escalating more and more up to a battle between light and dark magic and that was the first time the animation spiked in quality (ep 34 and 35). After that the story got better, but the animation stayed inconsistent but had some stellar fights. I wanna say the era of bad animation is over, and this arc is a great one for that to happen.
