I enjoyed your presentation. Your method is exactly how I create my slides for our church services. I have about 150 songs saved and over 500 background pictures. The only difference is I don't save to the cloud (Google drive). I have an external drive that contains all the files and backgrounds as well as a lyric library and archives of prior services.
