When I was a child we had 1 pastor in our church and he took the whole service. He would choose which choruses or hymns to sing then he would sing in unison with the congregation while his wife played the only instrument, the piano. This is true worship in honour to God. So called worship teams these days have lost focus they've forgotten that they've supposed to lead the congregation in singing. They're supposed to sing with them not to them! They put far too much focus on themselves instead of putting it all on God! I pray that He will open their eyes and return their footsteps to the path of righteousness. Hallelujah! Praise God! Amen!

I'm a singer for my church. When I first joined, I was hesitant to sing because during practices, I had doubts about my voice and my performance. I was debating whether it was the right choice for me stay and I was getting into my own head a lot. I'm so blessed to be around amazing godly people from the worship team who talked to me about worshipping God first and focusing on him when singing, instead of focusing on myself. I am very grateful for those words because it gave me confidence to sing and praise him on stage. I always pray that I will focus on God first and honor him in church. I'm grateful that God has given me the opportunity to sing for my church. Tommorow for the first time, I'm going to be a lead singer for a song. The Lord is amazing.

Worship leaders need to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit to glorify the Lord and NOT to accommodate the believers in the congregation. When taught properly, the congregation will learn to follow the leading of the worship leaders for all to invite the presence of the Lord in order to experience Him.

I learn more about God and this walk in Christ listening to your videos than I ever have attending a building of wood and stone growing up. Everytime I attended with my parents it was always the same preaching over and over every Sunday about being saved and alter calls for the unsaved but never about spiritual warfare or walking in holiness. I used to think being saved was all I needed but coming across your channel Daniel has opened my eyes to a whole new view in this walk in Christ. You are truly led by the Holy Spirit and you help me understand everything I never did before. Some pastors yell like they are rebuking the church but you say things so calmly like God is talking to me directly through you. It makes a huge difference. I feel God's love and peace through your videos. It makes me want to do right by God like I don't want to disappoint him. You must repent from your sins and deny the temptation. I know Im not Daniel. I like women as a man because I have the love of Christ in me I do not look at them with lust, I have had sex outside of marriage while I was not walking with the LORD God. When you are walking with Christ and praying constantly these things will be revealed to you and you will understand that nothing in this world is more important than your salvation. God allowed Satan to do it cause Gods plan was to give Job the faith it took to take the loss of children. And still love God. For me i think God wants us to take that as an example. Songs that uplifts the soul like the old rugged cross, a mansion over the hilltop and many more I really love singing Christian Old Hymns. The depth or the meaning of the song is so deep that you don't need to be emotional just to understand it. It really has the power to change lives not base on emotions and feelings.
As our older pastor was getting ready to retire and they were working on the new pastor to take his place, the songs and presentation began to change, more contemporary for the younger people. It really changed after the older pastor left. Harder to sing along with the newer songs. Sort of too fast to follow at times. So, sometimes now I just sing when I can follow the words, and praise Jesus in my heart when I can't. And when they have the lyrics on the screen they have no breaks where they should be to show you there's a break between lines. I like older and earlier contemporary worship songs. I understand they should be keeping up with current songs for the younger people in the congregation. I have no problem with that if I could sing along with it better. Once in awhile they sing an older one. But, not as often as I think they should.
I wanted to add my thoughts about repetition in songs. It has a hypnotic effect that can be addictive. I think secular music people know about this and use it to their benefit. I could name one song in particular but I won't because people might read this and go listen to it. It's not any better done in Christian music because it's just manipulation of the emotions and feelings to make you think you're making a connection, plus it is addictive and people want that same feeling over and over again.

FINALLY! My church pet peeve is church dictating. Church dictates when to clap, raise your hands, when to praise & pray or even when to give and how much to give! Where’s the truth in that? It’s supposed to be a personal relationship? Do you tell your wife or girlfriend you love her because someone told you to tell her? No wonder the road to eternal life is very narrow. No wonder GOD said that many will call my name but GOD said I do not know you! There’s a reason why GOD gifted us a “free will”. Freedom of choice and to make our own decisions. We’re supposed to worship and praise HIM out of our own free will not cause some praise and worship leader or pastor dictated you? Worship GOD out of your own free will. We are not in daycare where kids are being dictated? GOD said come us you are! 🙏
I love the point about praying before the service. Praying with the congregation as well, to bring together the congregation. It's the essence of unity and humility that's missing in modern worship services. And those who struggle with bright lights and loudness due to health reasons are left completely out. I don't understand how this entertainment mode of worship services continues. But I would love to be able to be drawn to tears in worship again.

Might I also add, worship leaders: please stop picking shallow, horizontal songs (we, he, I) as if you’re singing about God or singing to someone else. Pick vertical (You), theologically rich and deep songs that magnify God and that address Him specifically as He is the only audience in musical worship. I’m so sick of these shallow modern worship songs. Would love to get back to the timeless classics that fill my heart with adoration of God.

I'm a singer for my church. When I first joined, I was hesitant to sing because during practices, I had doubts about my voice and my performance. I was debating whether it was the right choice for me stay and I was getting into my own head a lot. I'm so blessed to be around amazing godly people from the worship team who talked to me about worshipping God first and focusing on him when singing, instead of focusing on myself. I am very grateful for those words because it gave me confidence to sing and praise him on stage. I always pray that I will focus on God first and honor him in church. I'm grateful that God has given me the opportunity to sing for my church. Tommorow for the first time, I'm going to be a lead singer for a song. The Lord is amazing.

Worship leaders need to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit to glorify the Lord and NOT to accommodate the believers in the congregation. When taught properly, the congregation will learn to follow the leading of the worship leaders for all to invite the presence of the Lord in order to experience Him.

I learn more about God and this walk in Christ listening to your videos than I ever have attending a building of wood and stone growing up. Everytime I attended with my parents it was always the same preaching over and over every Sunday about being saved and alter calls for the unsaved but never about spiritual warfare or walking in holiness. I used to think being saved was all I needed but coming across your channel Daniel has opened my eyes to a whole new view in this walk in Christ. You are truly led by the Holy Spirit and you help me understand everything I never did before. Some pastors yell like they are rebuking the church but you say things so calmly like God is talking to me directly through you. It makes a huge difference. I feel God's love and peace through your videos. It makes me want to do right by God like I don't want to disappoint him. I find myself on youtube with my headphones on more and more daily listening to God's word. May God bless you in all you do. You truly are a blessing. I have a question for u Daniel. What happens when someone is gay/lesbian or transgender. Does that mean they are going to hell and can’t be a Christian?
You must repent from your sins and deny the temptation. I know Im not Daniel. I like women as a man because I have the love of Christ in me I do not look at them with lust, I have had sex outside of marriage while I was not walking with the LORD God. When you are walking with Christ and praying constantly these things will be revealed to you and you will understand that nothing in this world is more important than your salvation. Not any type of pleasure found in so called love, not any drugs, not any amount of money.

Songs that uplifts the soul like the old rugged cross, a mansion over the hilltop and many more I really love singing Christian Old Hymns. The depth or the meaning of the song is so deep that you don't need to be emotional just to understand it. It really has the power to change lives not base on emotions and feelings.
As our older pastor was getting ready to retire and they were working on the new pastor to take his place, the songs and presentation began to change, more contemporary for the younger people. It really changed after the older pastor left. Harder to sing along with the newer songs. Sort of too fast to follow at times. So, sometimes now I just sing when I can follow the words, and praise Jesus in my heart when I can't. And when they have the lyrics on the screen they have no breaks where they should be to show you there's a break between lines. I like older and earlier contemporary worship songs. I understand they should be keeping up with current songs for the younger people in the congregation. I have no problem with that if I could sing along with it better. Once in awhile they sing an older one. But, not as often as I think they should.
I wanted to add my thoughts about repetition in songs. It has a hypnotic effect that can be addictive. I think secular music people know about this and use it to their benefit. I could name one song in particular but I won't because people might read this and go listen to it. It's not any better done in Christian music because it's just manipulation of the emotions and feelings to make you think you're making a connection, plus it is addictive and people want that same feeling over and over again.

I love the point about praying before the service. Praying with the congregation as well, to bring together the congregation. It's the essence of unity and humility that's missing in modern worship services. And those who struggle with bright lights and loudness due to health reasons are left completely out. I don't understand how this entertainment mode of worship services continues. But I would love to be able to be drawn to tears in worship again.
