- Hey guys and welcome to how to set up your life at university! 🦋✨ Here's how I spent my first 2 days after moving to university in london! I decorated my uni flat, worked out where to study in london, applied for a reader pass at the british library, got a gym membership, bonded with my housemates and caught up on uni work! I study a major in Cognitive Science at Minerva University :)
I hope you find this vlog useful. My biggest piece of advice for living with flatmates/roommates is to have an honest chat about how you like to live and then creating systems around everyone's expectations! 💐 it means you all feel happy and respected in the environment.

This is just like the ultimate guide to setting up a new space in uni it's Soo motivating, life is not hard it's just the kind that makes it hard and this video just crashed all those thoughts.I have a request can you please make a video about bad revision habits I think I'm struggling with this aspect! sending you hugs ❤️❤️xx
I have always thought that I will not live with friends when I'm older because it would never work out, but Jade this video made me crave sharing a home with friends that I love. It's not always sunshine and you show that you have to work togheter for it to work, thank you so much for being so real with us. You are such an inspiration. This is genuinely so absurd. I too am spending this term in London, as an exchange student from the U.S. I’ve also enjoyed spontaneous (and lengthy! 😮💨) walks through this city that is wonderfully new to my eyes. The other day I walked right past that building with the funky columns and two cats guarding the entrance. Enjoy your time in London with the genuine people you get to share this experience with. It is such a lovely city and I am looking forward to the growth that accompanies independent travel and international study. I’ve been watching your videos since the beginning, and it is so neat to watch you grow up and witness the blossoming and extension of your radiant energy. It is like I know you as a friend. Thank you for sharing the good, bad, and in-between of growing up and inspiring me to take the leap and study abroad. Life is always manageable, and certainly wonderful. 🦋 💛
Hi! I just have a question i think would be really interesting if you wanted to touch upon in a video sometime and just reflect around. Are you ever grateful for the fact that you get to study and read articles that are written in your main language? As a student in Norway doing my masters currently, almost all the science and articles that are relevant are in English. We do learn English in school and read it and watch movies and videos in English all the time, but for us its still a second language that we need to base our studying on. Would be really cool to hear your thoughts! Also, you are such a huge inspiration and your videos are a joy to watch!

I need to thank you Jade! Thanks to your Videos I kind of found myself again! I was always very organized but since the pandemic started I didn't really manage to get a routine back in my life, since I suddenly had to organize my whole day by myself...it is hard to stay motivated and healthy...I got into a toxic relationship with university were I learned last minute for one week but suffered extremly for this time (didn't allow myself to relax, eat healthy and so on). Thanks to Notion and so many other of your ideas I slowly but steadly come back to having a routine and I am organizing my work - life - study balance better and give myself a break when I need it! Thank you so much, your videos are so inspiring, I love watching them! Keep up the good work, lots of love :)

This video made me smile from ear to ear. The exploring London as a brand new unexplored place is such a beautiful mindset to take. When I moved to our current town, my eldest was barely 7 but while the youngest was in nursery, we would take long walks, chatting and exploring every road in order to get to know both one another as well as our new home. It is still one of our favourite memories and yet, even now, we can honestly say we don’t know everything about town even though we have lived her a very long time - and that is wonderful. Sometimes people can live in the same place for years but because they are so busy just going, going, going, they miss out on truly knowing their surroundings and all of its hidden little gems or unexpected art or little known history and so seeing you approach London in this way, having lived not too far from it your whole life, is beautiful.
I also love the sitting down and figuring out how to live with one another best from the outset because it will not only help now but will help future relationships flourish as well.

Hey! I know that feeling of not knowing what you want to do with your life, I felt the same until a few months before I finished school, but it will get better! Obviously it helps if you know what you want to do, but it's not the be all and end all. I think who you are matters more than what you do, and if you get that first part right, you could do a whole range of different things and still live a fulfilling life. God bless

You should also try charity shops! You can find decoration there, its sort of zero waste and I feel like quite unique to UK.
