One Question - With my desktop PC, I have a google account -Gmail, youtube, etc. In order to use this phones app store, google play, can I just use the same log in info I use on my PC? Does anything need to be "Synced"? I hope not. Help me out? Thanks.

This video tutorial is very helpful for me. My older Motorola is on its last leg. So, I called my cellphone provider and told them all the problems I was having with my old cellphone (its 5 years old come November of this year 2022) and the tech she said its done...its dead and won't work properly anymore. So, I'm getting a brand new cellphone and it did cost me (hubby forgot to put maintenance insurance on my phone like he did his) so, I'll have to pay out-of-pocket but, that's cool. My cellphone provider she hooked me up with Easy Pay Plan for monthly payments. $8.00 down and $5.00 dollars a month until I pay the cellphone off. So, next week I'll be getting my New Cellphone Motorola Moto G Pure (Android) phone. I'm so excited thinking about my New cellphone and the pricing isn't expensive at all. This here tutorial will help me understand how this cellphone works before I get my phone. Love how he explained everything in a easy and understandable way. Glad I click on this RUclips video. Thank you for your excellent easy to understand and follow video for us technologically challenged and /or seniors! It's helped me immensely. One thing you didn't explain, nor have I been able to find anywhere is how to add and change the language on the keyboard for typing messages in other languages. I send messages in other languages and on this phone, I can't seem to find how to change the language so that I can type correctly using appropriate spelling, accents and letters not used in English. Thanks!
There's a key next to the spacebar that looks like a basketball that lets you toggle in between the languages that you have added as your preferred languages press it and switches

I say this because most teaching videos act like the person already has a good understanding of their phone and you start from the basics and build up. great video, very helpful...I would add that the phone comes with a US Cellular sim card installed..so if you are with a different carrier and want to keep your old phone number and carrier (e.g. T Mobile)..just swap the sim card from your old phone into the new phone..no need to order a new sim card. This might be obvious to others..but it wasn't to me until I called T-mobile and asked. If you do that before going thru the set-up process..it might keep some of the US Cellular "junk apps" out of the phone also..

Most annoying phone ever had re: messages. Random messages disappear when not deleted which always deletes message history. Not happy because some messages are wanted or needed. Never had a cell phone that did that.
If you tap on the video, you should see three vertical dots in the upper right corner. When you tap on that, you should be able to get a captions option for most RUclips videos. I hope this helps!

Hi there, Im a couponer and need a phone with autofocus, meaning it has to focus on barcodes. Can you tell me if this phone will focus on barcodes? I bought a phone recently that said it had autofocus but it would not focus on any barcodes. Please let me know, the stores will not let me try before I buy. thx
Most cameras are QR code enabled. Tap screen when pointing camera on barcodes and qr codes it focuses the screen and pulls up what you need. May have to open camera settings and turn on QR reading.

Android is Google. You have to sign in with Google for several reasons. And or sign in with your carrier. There's really nothing nefarious going on. Benefits out weigh the privacy insecurities. Your Phone becomes more at risk without doing the full setups. There's always apps you can use to further limit Google or Samsung etc. Later.
You have to change the notification sounds. There's like dozens to change it to. You can make it whistle each time. Ring beep jingle speak or not. Go into notifications in settings and just change to something else.
Why would a CELLPHONE company deliberately deactivate the Enable ☑️ to be able to CAST TO TV 😤?! Yes, TRACFONE did that with this Moto G Pure 😤, why is that 😤!!!🤔🤦
i have not seen 1 tutorial that shows how to check remaining minutes!! i cant even get to it. the 1 shows you punch in a code, which is invalid. how to add minutes?? anyone?
Probably have to dial the min refill number on card and enter code for mins. The phone will only have a data manager that keeps record of how much data is your limit. Can be custom set to warn when getting close to using it up. I honestly don't know anyone who uses mins anymore. Like depending on how many mins you have should be how much did you buy. 10 card 40 dollar card etc. Each will equal to so many phone calls so many texts. And only so much internet data. 🤷🏻♀️. Phones don't normally have a min manager. Unless maybe a burner phone.
Is anyone else having problems with the screen? Looking at it gives me a slight headache no matter how I set the brightness . I don't have that problem when I look at my other smart phones. It seems odd. The phone itself is nice though.

If you shake the phone twice it turns on, shake twice it shuts off, just letting you know, great information 👍

Nawwh my phone flash light turns on when I shake it twice. I think if you go the other way it turns on your camera.

Press the setting icon on your keyboard and it will let you add multiple languages

i think this is a great option for a senior. it's pretty cheap, has everything you listed, and has a decent camera, as well!

Yes, you can hold down an app on second screen and slide it to first screen. You can also group apps into folders if needed.
Yes just click and drag apps to the screen you want . Long press on the 2nd screen and a trashcan should pop up.

It is a 4G phone. Cost of plan depends on carrier. This phone is available on Tracfone (all divisions), T-Mobile, ATT and Verizon that I am aware of.
