Not only was it not the time for that, she mostly just blamed Nana. I feel like her resentment for having to take care of Nana peaked through. Like Junko may be ‘friends’ with Nana but she doesn’t have a good opinion of her.
yes, that's such a great way of putting it! she doesn't have a good opinion of Nana, and it really comes out in these situations. but it's such a shame that she couldn't hold space for Nana's grief before lecturing her on her role in the breakup. like, time and place.

you did not disappoint with the junko reaction. it fully put me off her i'm afraid hachi's entire old squad minus kyosuke truly do not know her and will never be true friends to her like. tough love can only go so far and blah blah yes their relationship was going downhill etc but she made an effort and her lectures seem to have onky been reserved for her meanwhile to shoji the lecture is "we know nana js annoying, if you can't handle it break up". meanwhile to hachi it's "you're selfish, immature, you need to serve your man more" like it actually makes me so upset where is the sisterhood...tough love can only go so far i'm afraid
