I want to get Ashore. For me Honor 43 is the most stunning white floral that I ever smell and get me a tipe of complements like no other. For my husband is just and ok perfume, but when he gave it to me I was happier than he give me my last car😂😂 he just can not believe that
@RamseytheRam I love Jungle Gardenia was my wedding perfume I always have a few bottles older better, and the moment I buy my vintage first Fracas smells like was inspired by Jungle Gardenia that I LOVE. Happy to hear that probably I can have a risk of blind buy
Thank you for reviewing this! I happen to love this perfume. I can see why for a frag head this might be a bit pedestrian, as you noted. It is a creamy white floral. However, I love jasmine so I appreciate having it as the star player. I also love how they have managed, despite being so jasmine forward, to make this scent sort of light and shimmering, with a subtle hint of salt and spice. The combination makes for what I think is a pretty, sophisticated, summer, beachy fragrance that I can dress up or down. It also works great on my skin and makes me feel like I'm been on near the beach all day with a garland jasmine in my hair. Although you are correct over 300 clams is not worth it. If for no other reason, it's also kinda linear and too season specific (for me). But.....I got it on Jomashop for 150. So I grabbed it and wore it all summer long! Yippee!!
Wore vintage Jubilation XXV from a decant yesterday. I can still easily smell it today. I have a 2015 bottle which I love and I get solid performance from it too. Is there a difference between the two? Yes. The vintage has more of a thick berry note in the opening and the performance is uber-sonic. The 2015 has more coriander in the opening and the performance is excellent. Glad I got mine when I did. I haven't sampled anything from Amouage in some time. Have a great week ahead Ramsey.
Amouage just dropped Jubilation 40 🤣. Maybe that will smell similar to the vintage bottles. The current Jubilation XXV formulation smells butchered. It smells super condensed in an unpleasant way, there is no lift to the molecules.
@@chinyongsheng8712 That's really to bad. I have a 2015, just after the magnetic change with the cap, and it's great. I also have a vintage decant that I adore also.
I got a sample of Ashore, along with several others, and I can say it's one of the foulest fragrances I've ever smelled. I ranked it below Myths, Fate and Figment - actually dead last of all Amouage I've tried. Silver lining was, I tried Bracken Man out of that batch of samples, my fave.
Sounds like a hard pass for me. But I am enjoying Amouage at the moment though... trying to pickup as many of the older pre-takeover bottles before they are £1000+ unicorns. Recently got in near full partials of Amouage man and woman, also lyric and fate women both in the extriat versions which I've subsequently found are quite rare versions.

If you haven't smelled Robert Piguet Fracas from 1948.. that is probably my favorite 😍
