Can you use oyster shells that have just been from a restaurant or from your home? How do you cure them when you’re done just wash them and Dawn soap or what?
Chesapeake shores was written by Sheryl woods from colonial beach va & everything is based off the Northern neck of Virginia and eastern shore of Maryland...... unfortunately they decided to film in Canada & there is like 100% nothing Chesapeake about Chesapeake shores 😢 Which is a shame because colonial beach & the eastern shore would be great locations to film
DONT GO TO AMAZON Just ask your local fish-frier or fish-shop. You might need to soak them in hot water and clean them for a bit, but DONT GO TO AMAZON for it, please. Just think of the horrid ways the Amazonworkers get treated and JUST SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL STORE they would be glad to hand you the old oysters.
Unfortunately due to contamination & safety issues, by law restaurants are not permitted to give people the shells :(. Bay Beaches along Cape Cod have them!

Smart thing to do is buy them to eat then use the shells! Don’t buy the shells’
