BOTW is such a timeless game! You could go months at a time (or weeks in Quin’s case) without playing it and picking it up would STILL feel like a breath of fresh air, terrible pun intended!
You can stasis those flying nuts. That helped me a lot. Hardest one for me was the one in Lurelin Villiage where you had to get a rock on the roof. NEVER again.
Easiest way to do the one on the roof in Lorelin is to drop a couple of belly's on it then when it's risen just above the roof stasis it and hit it with one bomb arrow. Works every time.
Just in case you're curious, Ravio is a character from A Link Between Worlds, the 3DS zelda game. Actually another really fun game in the series though I rarely see anyone ever talk about it.
Quin keep the korok videos coming, there are still tons of koroks waiting to be found in Hyrule. Amazing video as always. The challange: Find and take a selfie with 20 koroks, not that hard but i thought it would be nice to see that. :)
I got all Koroks and one that bothered me the most is one in Akkala near a Lynel where you have to transport a boulder so far up a hill. I will add on a challenge by making you not have Majora's mask on and not being allowed to kill the beast.
THAT one is the hardest of all of them !!!! The lynel is not even the worst part, the boulder is !! I think it took me 15~20 mins to get it in ( I'm not the best with stasis )
tip: go to the top of *EVERYTHING* and maybe you will a korok. There's also lots in the gerudo desert and a *fricken rectangle of koroks in hebra* where that shrine with the lynel is i hope this is helpful. :)
For the fishing village, I used a couple Octoroks to levitate the rock alongside the building, put the stone on stasis, and shot the it with either a couple arrows or a bomb arrow to get the rock up there to complete the formation.
I’ve collected all 900 koroks twice and lost my sanity :) Also the way you first tried the one at fort Hateno at the beginning was amazing true gamer moment right there
Hey quin. Idea for a video. A zero deaths challenge. Start a new save file, and try to beat the game without dying. Abruptly end the video when you finally die, it would be hilarious!
i was arguing with one of my friends and all of the sudden she just texts, "Now go watch you new quinbobin video." so now i'm here, watching yet another master piece.
In this episode of Breath of the Wild... Ah, we're back in the main timeline? Good, good. I missed my old conclusion. Quin has donned The Leaf Mask, a symbol of a people he strives to find. To some, he would be a hero. Selflessly going out of his way to find Koroks and bring them home. Bravely wandering into the unknown in search of the tiniest of details (and men). Using his vast and omnipotent intelligence to solve even the hardest of puzzles, his strength for the hardest of challenges. To others? He's just a foolish fool on a foolish journey. (The only difference between the two is if he's successful in his quest.) Quin successfully shoots two acorns out of the sky not 10 minutes after getting acclimated to the game again, so I can truly say he is decent at archery; like an asian parent, my expectations only grow higher. Then, of course, Quin grows bold and tries his hand at _horseback archery..._ which goes over well! Missed a few shots -- if I was still going for the asian parent bit I could scold him, but -- overall it was a fantastic display. Horseback archery took a while for me to get a good hold on, and for Quin to learn that so quickly? (I'm sure it was his first try; Quin isn't the type to cut out large portions of his learning process and growth simply because he was failing and felt embarrassed by his losses. He's honorable like that.) Speaking of archery, Quin is really good as basketball? What? (Those two topics aren't even related? What a strange segue.) Man doesn't even need a backboard (until he does), just goes straight forward and succeeds first try every time. (The first few shots are practice shots, don't count.) Crazy. At 10:07 in the video Quin says a line all of us have wanted to say, maybe not to this Korok specifically, but to _someone._ (It's definitely this Korok. We all wanted to say this to this Korok.) It was fantastic being here, seeing these sights. What wonderful content to be gifted for the holidays. (Strange it wasn't snowing..) But, _but,_ *_our (mis)adventures are concluded for today!_*

Also, about the DLC armor. Most of them are from previous games. Majora's Mask is, obviously, Majora's Mask. They have both Midna's helmet and Zant's helmet from Twilight Princess, the Tingle set (duh), and also the armor set for Phantom Gannon, the boss of the Forest temple (adult) from Ocarina of Time. Phantom Armor - The chest piece that you had on at the end of the video belongs to a Phantom armor set that a ghost possessed in Phantom Hourglass. Island Lobster Shirt - That's the original shirt worn by Link in Windwaker. Ravio's Hood - the one you just got is the hood of a merchant from A Link Between Worlds. They play a crucial role, them being the one who sells you the items like the bow and bomb. There are a few more, specific to this game, but I loved that they brought other references into the mix. Still would've been better with Hookshot, though.
The only reason I can think of as to why they *_didn't_* add Hookshot is because it would make climbing far too easy; just hook everything and skip half the mountains in the game with zero stamina.
True story: i was doing the korok in lurelin and i got so mad that i literally almost punched my switch, and eventually i had the idea to knok a tree into the building, stasis it, and walk up it with a rock. One of the ones that frustrated me the most was the one in the Akkala wilds where you have to get the boulder in the hole from so far away and a Lynel in your path...
Big Speed, the one that bugged me the most was the waterfall one in Faron. It's a magnet block but you have to move it from the bottom of the waterfall to the top, and the ice blocks are slanted so you can't put it down or it will fall to the bottom again. I had to try it like 10 times. And yeah, the heart thing is SO ANNOYING. Particularly because they COULD line up, but they DON'T!
@@QuinBoBin once I figured it out it wasn't that bad, but I kept trying to put the block down and stand next to it so it wouldn't slide off, which... didn't work.
That lurelin roof one and the akkala wilds rock hole korok were the hardest for me. Nervously trying to stasis hit the rock accurately while dodging looks from the lynel in akkala was terrifying the first time I tried it... Came back when I had more fighting experience and took care of it, but not killing the lynel definitely makes it a spicier challenge.
Oh Hylia, I forgot about the Akkala one. I feel like the Lynel was perfectly placed there because they knew you'd need to throw hands trying to get the Korok.
Thank you for your videos Quin, you’re really helping me get through this year. It’s been tough but you’re always so positive and it makes me smile :)) PS, if you need game ideas, rain world is kinda like hollow knight but harder (still you play as a silly bug)
I saw one guy do that lurelin korok by bringing a cart all the way from Eldin. I've always ended up doing it with Octorok balloons (climb up and pick the rock up while it's floating).
This is the second video yours that i watch and goddamn i laughed a lot damn, love u and continue making funny gameplays please we need more people like you xD
Any rock throwing one is the bane of my existence, but I’ve discovered that they’re a lot easier for me when I use stasis and golf them into the rock circles
On my most recent play through, I did not want to suffer for the Lurelin Village korok puzzle, but THEN I had an idea. I carried a rock over to the side of the house, put two Octorok balloons on it, let it float up just above the roof line, froze it with stasis and gave it a little bomb arrow nudge. It plopped onto the roof on the second try. Second. Try. After ALL OF THE SUFFERING. But I was pretty excited to find a new way! That’s what makes this game so much fun to replay.
It’s crazy to think that to solve that last korok, you have to hit the tree by the fence, freeze it before it completely falls then walk on it to get to the puzzle 😂😂
Hilariously, I found all of these organically. That last one though I got smart and save reload... a few too many times. Also, Quin's "LET'S GOOOO!" is how we all feel inside when we get that one insanely difficult korok puzzle.
The Ravio set will let you climb faster, but only when going sideways. I think that, if you equip Ravio and drink a Level 3 speed potion, you get maximum sideways/diagonal climb speed.
Thanks to watching you and my sister, I got the Lurelin korok first try. Put a rock on the highest point, aimed for the backboard and 3 hits with the iron sledgehammer.
An easy way to do the one you have to hit the rock on the roof is to get a rock right by the building, attach a couple octorok balloons, and when it gets high enough, stasis it, and shoot it with one or two bomb arrows. Got it on my second try that way.
the worst korok for me is the one in the location called "Tobio's Hollow", its an incomplete triangle on one of the rocks in the little pool of mud and youre meant to cut down one of the trees and walk across it, but i kept falling until i was out of rocks so i had to scour the surrounding wilderness for rocks. i found no rocks.
except you can literally walk in the mud to bring the rock over. lol. That's how i did it. IIRC it's because I walked straight and from a direct line from the rock so it must be a narrow invisi pathway in the mud if falling off a tree drowned you. .
If you're up for a new and absolute BONKERS challenge you could do a randomized run of BOTW, where literally every item, enemy, weapon, chest and so forth are randomly generated in the game. I saw few youtubers/streamers (Point Crow, Linkus, Small Ant...) and it seems a real blast (a.k.a. pure suffering)! Would love seeing you try that! Cheers happy holidays mate!
i just picked up twilight princess for my gamecube and remember rlly liking when u played it. It was one of the games that i watched u play all the way through. I find it kinda hard to just sit down and watch majoras mask for example, butbreath of the wild and twilight princess was some of the best of the games u have played. PS. i know this comment was all over the place, but i just wanted to tell u
Advice. If there you find a Korok 'basketball' puzzle that looks pretty tough save the game. Reloading will respawn the rocks if needed. The one in Lurelin IS pretty tough. I prefer not to play hockey to do it though. On the opposite side of the building is a line of trees that happens to have a rock nearby. One of those trees is close enough to land against the building when cut down. With good fortune and timing you can stasis it in place. (Save and reload to retry.) Because BotW physics are weird you can climb up onto the stump with the rock in hand. The hard part is timing the stasis so the tree is angled well enough to walk up.
Funny Fact:Quin, the korok in Lurelin village is easy. You just need to cut a palm tree(the nearest one). Make the trunk fall in that roof. Then pick the rock and use the trunk as a bridge. 30 seconds or less take that puzzle. Just try it. But is hilarious watching you struggle.
A korok that's been troubling me is the one near Stolock Bridge, which is the big bridge that goes over Goron City. I haven't even found it yet, but the korok mask says there's one there
The first one that always comes to mind is a "race to the ring" in Gerudo Canyon. I got all 900 bois (I've put too many hours into this game lol) and this one was by far the hardest for me. You'll understand why when you try it! Oh! And the golfing one in Akkala, west of Robbie's. First you (should probably) defeat the lynel, and honestly, that's the easiest part. Go find and tell these green men they play too much!
Here’s a visual of the sheer amount of times Quin has said ‘tiny green man’ Imagine you count every grain of sand on earth. Then, multiply that by the number of atoms in the universe. Repeat until the sun explodes.
so i have spent the last 2 hours trying to do the fishing village korok. i took a break to watch quin. and i got it on my second try. quin you are officially a wizard

except you can literally walk in the mud to bring the rock over. lol. That's how i did it. IIRC it's because I walked straight and from a direct line from the rock so it must be a narrow invisi pathway in the mud if falling off a tree drowned you. .
finally botw vids im subscribing again :)

But is hilarious watching you struggle.
i havent watched your vida for a while. but im starting to like them again
A korok that's been troubling me is the one near Stolock Bridge, which is the big bridge that goes over Goron City. I haven't even found it yet, but the korok mask says there's one there
More cute Koroks with my boy Quin

The first one that always comes to mind is a "race to the ring" in Gerudo Canyon. I got all 900 bois (I've put too many hours into this game lol) and this one was by far the hardest for me. You'll understand why when you try it! Oh! And the golfing one in Akkala, west of Robbie's. First you (should probably) defeat the lynel, and honestly, that's the easiest part. Go find and tell these green men they play too much!
Here’s a visual of the sheer amount of times Quin has said ‘tiny green man’
Imagine you count every grain of sand on earth. Then, multiply that by the number of atoms in the universe. Repeat until the sun explodes.
