I’m sorry I did this to you, but you seem pretty qualified for the job. Thank you for your counting skill! I’m glad I’m not the only one who will slowly go insane with this series
and then you have to go to a stable, talk to the person feeding horses to change your horse's look. (Not all stables have this; I know Outskirt Stable does, tho)
When I finished the DLC and was ready to save Zelda I decided no, she has been waiting for me for 100 years now, she can wait a little bit longer. So I decided to go on a korok hunt, and it was a great decision. Walking around, looking for koroks and hidden chests really made me explore the WHOLE map. I´m not even half way, but Zelda can wait, I must find Korok

Quin I’m a recent sub and just wanted to say I love your videos, I’ve been binging playlist by playlist and so far my favorite thing about your videos is how you always start it off with a laugh, very wholesome tiny green man! 💚
Yeah, the best thing about Korok hunting is probably that you get to visit 95% of the map (some places just don't have Koroks). It took me half a year to get all 900, and even though it was very tedious, I got to appreciate the beautiful views along the way and some places that I had no idea existed.
The first time I tried collecting all of the korok seeds I was missing exactly 3 even though I was following guides collecting them one at a time, that pain sat with me for so long
I learned how to windbomb recently and up until now i had no idea why you enjoyed it so much *I understand now* 7:23 when they do that attack you just fly up on your paraglider and they cant do anything about it. And you can get bullet time too. Im rewatching your Skyward Sword series today because i just bought Skyward Sword myself and i’m gonna play it later >:) Excited for the next episode! I recently completed my second play through of BotW and i think after i’m done with Skyward Sword i’m gonna get all the korok seeds and shrines for myself. And maybe all the side quests but idk Have a great day Quin! Keep up the awesome work ^^
Yesssss, it beginssss I appreciate the camaraderie of watching you struggle with the same ones I did. The lake Hylia waterfall one had me searching everywhere for that metal block.
Quin my theory is that the koroks lived in the wild before the calamity but when the calamity hit they went into hiding and they have puzzles that only link can solve so he can find them and they make happy noises when they see link because they know he can protect them
According to some theories, they might be Kokiri that turned into Koroks and the Koroks might turn into Deku trees or cursed Deku trees like in the lost woods. I think that since the Kokiri are children who like to play, when they got turned into Koroks, they didn’t really care and kept playing. When they played hide and seek, they put themselves in jars and stuff.
I think 'Owlan Bridge' was a reference to Instructor Owlan from SS, the plant lover. There should be a Horwell bridge somewhere around there for the same reason just like Eagus bridge for the sword teacher.
Quin, I had also set out on a journey of my own to get all the tiny green men. It is definitely worth it. Some of my best memories of botw was through korok hunting. Have fun, good luck!
Hi Quin, hope you enjoy the Korok hunting, it's definitely one of the most grindy thing you can do in a video game. Since you have already taken that step, maybe you want to complete all the side quests and get all the key items in order to 100% complete the game? I personally add killing all the Lynels to that list cuz it's strange that they are considered as just normal enemies but not mini bosses.
Quick tips with the online map you can clear a marker when you've found it which helps make the map steadily easier to read and another tip when I found all of them it helps to look at the map and put down stamps in that area and take them off when you've found them
Big Speed, my favorite part of getting all the Koroks was absolutely the fact that I ended up in several places that I had never been before, despite having a ton of hours in the game. And the waterfall ones are the WORST, and the one in Faron Jungle is even worse.
Pretty recently I finished collecting all 900, and let me tell you it’s super painful, super satisfying, and super fun! Here are some little tips I found helpful :) - Some puzzles have you match the fruit on a set of three trees/cacti, and I recommend shooting down the ones you need to make it match since if you mess up they take a while to respawn - You can stasis the acorns in the floating puzzles, but not the balloons - If you can’t find a specific one sometimes just walking around with stasis will help you find rocks or something suspicious - make sure you always have enough arrows - you can mark the korok locations on your map using stamps! This makes it easier to focus on one area without always having to reference your computer
The armor that lets you summon your horse is in two horse-themed areas on the map. Locations are down below, I did not want to spoil :) One is on Satori Mountain and the other is by the horse fairy
I found sticking to one region and going through the map that way easier on my mental health when searching for all the Koroks. It is definitely more fun to wander around, but when you get close to the end, going through region by region might save you the 899 problem and some hair :) Good luck!
The item that teleports your horse is one of the ancient horse gear pieces, one of them is under the cherry blossom tree on the mountain that some nights will have a pillar of light on it in the west of hyrule, and the other is behind the horse god spring, both in chests, and to equip them you just need to have max bond with your horse and visit a stable with a woman tending to the horses and talk to her to equip them
As someone who collected every korok, good luck. My only advice is that with the ancient saddle, you're not always able to whistle in your horse because of the conditions, similar to how you can't call your horse on Death Mountain. Before you enter any snowy areas, just ride in with your horse instead of teleporting so you can move around faster than running.
The Ancient Saddle allows you to call your horse anywhere you want. It is behind the Great Fairy-like fountain of Malanya the Horse God, its a short ride/hike from Highland Stable through the opening passed the puddle lake where the horses are and go left from there and across the bridge. It plays the same Great Fairy music when you approch but remixed with Epona's Song, its quite lovely.
i went insane when i wanted to 100% the game and the map i used only had 898 marked and not all 900 😃 so good that ur using zelda dungeons and not the one i used to use 😃😃
Also, in case you don’t remember, to equip the Ancient Saddle (or any horse gear) talk to the stable lady messing with the horse trough at Outskirt, Woodland, Highland, or South Akkala stables. Possibly also Foothill Stable?
This has me laughing so hard. I, too, love the little green guys. I will sometimes burst forth with a "yahaha!" In random situations. So much so that my 2 year old nephew has chosen it as his catch phrase.
Close to the bridge over by the Coliseum there's one that took me forever to find because it's pretty well camouflaged. In the Akkala region, close to the spiral peninsula iirc there's a timed one that I remember being a little stressful because of how little time you get. In the Eldin region, next to the Medingo pool, there's a korok that you need a golden bow for because it gives you the required range while also not burning to a crisp. In Nirvata Lake, between the Peak of Awakening and Hateno Village, there's two. The trickier one is the one up the waterfall. In the Gerudo Highlands there's a couple of annoying ones; not because they are difficult but because of how far the item you need for the puzzle falls down if you miss.
Quin i have looked all over youtube and never found a youtuber as funny and cool as you, and i have had hard times this year and you brightend my world and you are soooo entertaining, kepp going
I ended up getting all the Koroks back in 2020, took me about a month of pain and suffering. I wish you well big man, your brain will need it. Hestu's reward will be worth it though.
bro I just discovered your channel and I love it! I don't know if you got majora's mask (from 1st dlc) but if you haven't you should cuz it allows you to blend with all monsters (even lynels) so you can sneak by; it's especially good if you're trying to farm weapons from within hyrule castle.
When I was collecting all the korok seeds I managed to miss 1... I used the interactive map to remove korok seeds I had found, but at one location there are 2 koroks very close to each other, so i somehow checked off both... that was a long day, going through the map twice
Everyone has said it already, but you have to go to the horrible horse fountain and duck behind it, magnesis the chest out of the ground, and bam! You have the ancient saddle. Then you put it on a horse with max friendship/trust at one of the stables (only the ones with the lady tending the horses) and you're good, Quin!
Most of the flower ones involve climbing, which is SO much easier to do with the Climbing Gear at at least level 2 so you can have the set bonus. Also do attempt the climbing ones in the rain, even in the Climbing Gear. It's a nightmare. Also wearing the Zora armor Mipha made for you lets you swim up waterfalls
For the telehorse ability you need to get the ancient briddke (which you have) and the saddle. One i believe is under a cherry blossum tree at hyrule ridge and the other is by the horse god
The thing you need to have a horse come to you via is the ancient saddle. It's at the horse god spring, which is South of Faron Woods. God speed getting the tiny green men Quin
I like how in this video Quin "loves them so much and would die for them" and then by the end of the next video he's sure they're all evil (except the round boy) and plotting to destroy all of Hyrule.
The Ancient Saddle is the item that you can equip to be able to call your horse, to find it you need to go to the Horse God Fountain, it should be to the left of and behind the Fountain itself. Also! Those Korok puzzles that are the pots being flung into the air can be cheesed with Stasis! You can Stasis the pots, shoot them, then un-Stasis and it breaks them.
Binkus needs both the ancient bridle and ancient saddle on his horse and when he whistles it will be teleported to him. Or Binkus could use the master cycle.
One thing I learned in my playthrough is that for the ones that have a bunch of balloons, you can use bomb arrows to explode more than one at a time! You can also use bombs too but it ain't as satisfying
you get the ancient bridle to give the horse extra gallops or spurs, you get the ancient saddle to call your horse the horse to you. you can get the items at satori mountain and the behind horse gods fountain. you can equip them onto your horse at the highland stable by talking to the NPC by the horses while on a horse.
The other day I finally got all 900 koroks. I've been slowly chipping away at it since 2017. The Zelda Dungeon map changed the game about 7 months ago and I've been occasionally just checking some off the map. Earlier this week I said "screw it, I'm doing this" and grinded out the last ~200 of them. I had exactly 3 I was missing at the end, which I type as I hear you say you're afraid of missing 3 at the end. It was annoying as fuck to check off all the koroks again, but I was eventually able to figure it out. The castle is the worst part because you can't view the map from the inside! Also, be VERY careful when there's 2 koroks directly next to each other on the Zelda Dungeon map and make sure you actually got both before you check them both off. Those were my three missed ones.
the item that allows your horse to teleport to you with just a whistle; is actually the matching saddle to your sheikah bridle, it is found at satori mountain under the cherry tree. happy korok hunting!
The ancient saddle, which allows you to call your horse via whistle, is behind the Horse God. You can find his location in Faron on the map it’s called something like “river of the horse god” or something like that.
I think its a requitement that every QuinBoBin video must have one *insert Quin yelling "OHH" only to be cut off* because those moments are perfection incarnate
Quin here is a bit of advice for the balloon or Any bow korok use the bows that shoot 3 5 2 arrows at once it helps get them done faster so you can get more in a episode
So on the Wii u version, I started tracking my koroks about half way through. Then after getting the 900th one, I realized it was actually the 899th. I haven't touched that game since. It made me so angry. Then I got the switch version and tracked every single one from the start. I just got all 900 on December 24th :)
When I did The Great Korok Hunt, I had an app on my phone (same map you’re using, but you could tell it they were collected, and the icon would go away). I just went through each region of the map, checking which I had found, and collecting each group of them as I found the uncollected ones.
7:37 I commented on a previous video that I was replaying master mode with only bows… and as I was doing so I found this one for the first time… I have over 200 hours in the game and I’ve never saw this one
Day 447 of asking Quin to play Wizard 101 with the bois, did you know that in Toy Story 4 instead of creating all of the individual cobwebs by hand in the antiques store, Pixar created AI spiders that were programmed to spin the webs wherever the cobwebs needed to be

Yeah that’s gotta hurt i hope i get by without that happening but it isn’t likely
I learned how to windbomb recently and up until now i had no idea why you enjoyed it so much
*I understand now*
7:23 when they do that attack you just fly up on your paraglider and they cant do anything about it. And you can get bullet time too.
Im rewatching your Skyward Sword series today because i just bought Skyward Sword myself and i’m gonna play it later >:)
Excited for the next episode! I recently completed my second play through of BotW and i think after i’m done with Skyward Sword i’m gonna get all the korok seeds and shrines for myself. And maybe all the side quests but idk
Have a great day Quin! Keep up the awesome work ^^
Congrats to quin for giving the devs the idea to make the dragons rideable
Yesssss, it beginssss
I appreciate the camaraderie of watching you struggle with the same ones I did. The lake Hylia waterfall one had me searching everywhere for that metal block.
Quin my theory is that the koroks lived in the wild before the calamity but when the calamity hit they went into hiding and they have puzzles that only link can solve so he can find them and they make happy noises when they see link because they know he can protect them
Awwww
According to some theories, they might be Kokiri that turned into Koroks and the Koroks might turn into Deku trees or cursed Deku trees like in the lost woods. I think that since the Kokiri are children who like to play, when they got turned into Koroks, they didn’t really care and kept playing. When they played hide and seek, they put themselves in jars and stuff.
I wonder what they do the whole time they’re hiding
The optimism and wholesomeness of Quin in this video compared to the most recent Korok hunting video...truly the best example of the Duality of Man
I think 'Owlan Bridge' was a reference to Instructor Owlan from SS, the plant lover.
Quick tips with the online map you can clear a marker when you've found it which helps make the map steadily easier to read and another tip when I found all of them it helps to look at the map and put down stamps in that area and take them off when you've found them
When I saw that map of the all the koroks on the great plateau I actually died for you... good luck with this one dude
Can’t wait for this! I love your vids, they’re so positive and they’ve really been a highlight of my day recently :) so glad i found your channel!
Big Speed, my favorite part of getting all the Koroks was absolutely the fact that I ended up in several places that I had never been before, despite having a ton of hours in the game.
And the waterfall ones are the WORST, and the one in Faron Jungle is even worse.
Good Luck QuiBoBin. It took me some time to do it but I and all the other people watching believe in you
13:30 the lore is that they are playing a prank on hestu. When you meet him he said the seeds are used as beads for his maracas.
Pretty recently I finished collecting all 900, and let me tell you it’s super painful, super satisfying, and super fun! Here are some little tips I found helpful :)
- Some puzzles have you match the fruit on a set of three trees/cacti, and I recommend shooting down the ones you need to make it match since if you mess up they take a while to respawn
- You can stasis the acorns in the floating puzzles, but not the balloons
- If you can’t find a specific one sometimes just walking around with stasis will help you find rocks or something suspicious
- make sure you always have enough arrows
- you can mark the korok locations on your map using stamps! This makes it easier to focus on one area without always having to reference your computer
Listening to Celtic ballads in the background of this Quin vid, adequately epic music:epic gaming ratio
Hey man, It’s so amazing to see how much your channel is growing. love ya bro keep going strong!
Ps. My name is also quin
It’s a good name
I wish my name was Quin…
The armor that lets you summon your horse is in two horse-themed areas on the map. Locations are down below, I did not want to spoil :)
One is on Satori Mountain and the other is by the horse fairy
14:30 yeah that was insane, same with the one in Fort Hateno, I needed to stasis that just to hit it
You can almost hear Mipha’s sigh when she rescues you while you’re DROWNING
He did it. It took like 6 months, but the madman actually did it
I found sticking to one region and going through the map that way easier on my mental health when searching for all the Koroks. It is definitely more fun to wander around, but when you get close to the end, going through region by region might save you the 899 problem and some hair :) Good luck!
"I'm getting ganked, where's my jungler?" XD
15:33 Get the Ancient Saddle, which is found behind the Horse God fountain (south of the Highland Stable)
The item that teleports your horse is one of the ancient horse gear pieces, one of them is under the cherry blossom tree on the mountain that some nights will have a pillar of light on it in the west of hyrule, and the other is behind the horse god spring, both in chests, and to equip them you just need to have max bond with your horse and visit a stable with a woman tending to the horses and talk to her to equip them
Thank you thank you
As someone who collected every korok, good luck.
15:38 you need special dlc-exclusive guardian horse armor. the bridle is at satori mountain and the saddle is at the spring of the horse god malanya.
He already knows about satori mountain
@@felixrosenlund7665 ik, i just added that in for people who don't know about satori mountain
by the end of this quin will not be able to turn around without seeing twenty tinier green men
i went insane when i wanted to 100% the game and the map i used only had 898 marked and not all 900 😃 so good that ur using zelda dungeons and not the one i used to use 😃😃
Looool that’s actually horrible
The lynel bow that shoot 5 arrows helps a lot in the ballons puzzles
@James Harrison i dont know, never saw one
Watching this is giving me a newfound appreciation for this game like honestly
That waterfall cube one was really neat they cooked with some of these
Quin I watched ur videos to get me through 100% this game good luck on the tinnier green men hunting and hope u have fun doin it
Over the past few weeks. I have been madly obsessed with your videos. Thanks
Quin i have looked all over youtube and never found a youtuber as funny and cool as you, and i have had hard times this year and you brightend my world and you are soooo entertaining, kepp going
@quinbobin
I ended up getting all the Koroks back in 2020, took me about a month of pain and suffering. I wish you well big man, your brain will need it. Hestu's reward will be worth it though.
"that looks gross...but extremely doable" story of my life
Wait
bro I just discovered your channel and I love it!
You need the ancient saddle it’s in the Malanya area. And when you hit the Koroks on Tarrey Town and Castle bridges put your Ravio hood on!
@James Harrison Eh?
@James Harrison ah right cause they’re both bunnies, duh lol 😂
@James Harrison true dat!
God speed getting the tiny green men Quin
ngl this kinda makes me wanna find hem all too. even though i swore i would NEVER lmao
Fun fact: You can Stasis the nuts to make it easier to hit them :D
I'm glad you decided to get all the koroks because I cannot get enough of your videos. Keep up the great work!
for the horse thing 1 is at saori mountain and the other is behind the horse god fountain use the magnet rune to
help
Binkus needs both the ancient bridle and ancient saddle on his horse and when he whistles it will be teleported to him. Or Binkus could use the master cycle.
You just need the ancient saddle for teleportation, the bridle adds more gears for more stamina.
One thing I learned in my playthrough is that for the ones that have a bunch of balloons, you can use bomb arrows to explode more than one at a time! You can also use bombs too but it ain't as satisfying
im just excited for this playthrough of finding tiny green men also quinn your humor just makes it even better
Quin: You ever been juked by a pig?
Dream: ...
Hey quin! Pro tip for that map online, you can clear off the markers as you go so it makes the map less cluttered.
1 year later 10:12 in TOTK we can ride the dragons. Tiny man predicts the future.
you get the ancient bridle to give the horse extra gallops or spurs, you get the ancient saddle to call your horse the horse to you. you can get the items at satori mountain and the behind horse gods fountain. you can equip them onto your horse at the highland stable by talking to the NPC by the horses while on a horse.
This guy has the best additude of all the youtubers ive been watching
And you cant disagree with me
today I was feeling kinda down. And I saw this video and thought why not. And it made my day lot better.
Thank you so much.
4:30-4:35
That was so perfectly timed.
You can find his location in Faron on the map it’s called something like “river of the horse god” or something like that.
judging by your love of koroks, i reeeally think you should play through wind waker 👀
I definitely will
Yooo I love ur botw series so much, just bought the game again 2 weeks ago after I lost it in 2018 and I just got the dlc and it's soo fun
Dude, how do you not have more subs?? You're so good!
I think its a requitement that every QuinBoBin video must have one *insert Quin yelling "OHH" only to be cut off* because those moments are perfection incarnate
Its always fun to just see tiny green men over and over again be freed from rocks and balloons and flowers
Quin here is a bit of advice for the balloon or Any bow korok use the bows that shoot 3 5 2 arrows at once it helps get them done faster so you can get more in a episode
I like to imagine a loud rumble spread throughout hyrule as 900 koroks simultaneously sprinted to their hiding spots in the middle of the night
So on the Wii u version, I started tracking my koroks about half way through. Then after getting the 900th one, I realized it was actually the 899th. I haven't touched that game since. It made me so angry. Then I got the switch version and tracked every single one from the start. I just got all 900 on December 24th :)
@A B oh trust me, I tried everything. But looking for one single korok on the map gave me a headache 😂
Loooool it sounds painful
When I did The Great Korok Hunt, I had an app on my phone (same map you’re using, but you could tell it they were collected, and the icon would go away). I just went through each region of the map, checking which I had found, and collecting each group of them as I found the uncollected ones.
It’s so much more fun watching you do this than when I did it. You’re so naturally entertaining and skilled and kinda handsome.
7:37 I commented on a previous video that I was replaying master mode with only bows… and as I was doing so I found this one for the first time… I have over 200 hours in the game and I’ve never saw this one
This is going to be a severe and continuous lapse in Quin's judgement
u still need the ancient horse saddle which is in a metal treasure chest at the great horse fairy
Day 447 of asking Quin to play Wizard 101 with the bois, did you know that in Toy Story 4 instead of creating all of the individual cobwebs by hand in the antiques store, Pixar created AI spiders that were programmed to spin the webs wherever the cobwebs needed to be
That’s actually so cool, i wish i could get robots spiders to make my thumbnails
My soul left my body when I heard "I'm getting ganked, where's my jungler". You can never escape this hellfire of a game
