I lived out in Pahrump, Nevada back in 1999-2002 and used go out on long night drives to get away from all the lights just to enjoy the sky !
That's great. Beautiful area. I love the desolation of area as well, but i do enjoy living in the city as well.
You got my thumbs up .... Very Nice !
Thank you very much!
How do you get the drone to stay full of battery for a day to night time lapse? A drone cant stay in the air for this long of a time lapse, even if you changed batteries, they only last 30 mins and you'd never get that drone back into the same position to continue the time lapse.
Good question. As the description states, this is a composite video. The drone video is just that a video about 30s long captured in the morning in daylight. The Milkyway timelapse was about 3 hours and captured at a different location in Death Valley. Carefully mask and edit it, convert day to night, add some car headlights in post, and sprinkle with some extra flavor, and you have a pretty convincing video!
@@dhmccauley ahhhh I didn’t read far enough into it, makes total sense now. I knew it had to be a composite of some sort, I just read the title and clicked like a noob 😂
This came out awesome Dan!! Love it!! 👌👌
