The jacks under the harmonic and morph pots are the cvs, so to control words you'd need to run a slow LFO or separate sequencer to those and change them as needed, while triggering the gate as normal. Could do it with one sequencer if you only needed the one bank (numbers for example) or were dexterous enough to spin it yourself and land on the correct bank. Might even be able to repurpose the pitch cv if you've got one that does pitch, mod and gate per step.

Thank you as well Steve! I for one would very much like to master this! I’m wondering if Behringer has something in mind the way, say chorus programs let you type in words?

I figured out all words and a way to make Brains ‘sing’. Took a while, the manual is not giving details. I will make a video and publish on FlippingTheBits. Also will give all word tables.

Brains has been a really inspiring addition to my semi modular based rig. I added in the Abacus, Bode Freq. Shifter, Four (lfo), and Space (fx) to really bring range and depth to the 2600 centerpiece. It is kind of a whole new beast now.

Aaron, can you share how to connect those modulars to your 2600? I can't figure it out.

I wonder if (and how) it would be able to upload your own words. Also, a CV control from a sequencer into Morph can trigger specific words. Each word is a whole voltage. So C1 is "red", C2 is "orange", etc. Same with the categories, send CV into the Harmonics to control the category. So, when matching both Harmonics and Morph with 2 separate CV sequences, you can make it say "one analog echo" for example. Categories are colours, numbers, alphabet, NATO alphabet, words like "digital" "analog" "filter" "modular" etc. Before colours there are just sounds, no words (or at least, I haven't been able to find any).

I spun the knob round to about 22 minutes and it said "Vlad is a girl". I tried to trigger it again but couldn't. :-o
